Our Hope

Bless Up e-Book Store, is a not-for profit-ministry of the above mentioned Church. Focusing on our vision; and sharing with all interested persons globally, the Word of God, which enriches our history and Culture in union with Christ : will give hope to the hopeless; spiritual food and strength to hungry; quench the thirst of the thirsty; give sight to the blind, shed light in their pathway, rescue the perishing, and give life to the dying.

With e-books and various categories of e-devices today, one can learn added skills and improve himself/herself at their own pace for personal satisfaction, and/or to improve work performance; and thus, possible an increase of financial gains. Additionally, providing a new service to sensitive the public, and especially the underprivileged, it is expected that it would help some to strike a balance between the material and the spiritual, thus alleviating poverty to some degree.                         Our Belief

We believe that at some point in time our e-services and ministries, though small now, will motivate individuals and groups. And as they  grasp the vision, they will run with it and eventually, enjoy the other benefits such as, for example,: self confidence, high self-worth, a changed mindset, a good character, a clearer understanding of the world; and the Word of God, [1 John 2: 15-17] through increased reading skills, dedication just to mention a few.

We also believe that by providing clean and healthy ebooks materials and training at all levels through the  electronic systems available, and by encouraging everyone within our communities and without to read more, and to further their studies,  that this simple approach starting from the home, church, and clubs, could have a greater impact on our societies globally. Also that positive results could be seen even at a faster rate, provided that there is co-operation in every stratum of society. Further that through education and training, at all levels crime rates and other ills in today’s societies would decrease significantly, poverty would be alleviated, and people would be able to live and work together in a much more comfortable, safe, peaceful and friendly environment. Interestingly, with less pressure on the economy, there should be signs of economic growth and development with a given period of time.

Your opportunity

Also with other things being well, foreign investors would always have vacancies to be filled at all levels in their business enterprises, and especially for persons who can manage their high level electronic equipment; and this would be to advantage of those who have been upgrading their acadamic and technical skills.

Overcome your reading problem

A lot of people have great practical skills and abilities, but have a reading problem. It is never too late to pick up the slate and make a new start all over again. Start from the basics, if you have a problem reading. It is not embarrasing, but instead, rewarding. Start with an e-book at your level. At first, and at times, you would want some one to help you, so find that someone, and after you have learnt to read, study and work on the skill/s that you like best and can manage, especially if  it makes sense in terms of enough dollars, and at the same time, could make you live up and enjoy a better standard of social, economic and spiritual life.

Topic: Our Daily Bread

The term “Bread” as used by Jesus Christ, has become part of our InJew Culture

In the Lord’s prayer, Jesus taught his disciples to pray “give us this day our daily bread.” [Matthew 6:11] A clearer understanding of this scripture can be had by Jesus’ use of the term “bread” in Matthew 4: 4, which tells us how He resisted the temptation of the “devil” after he challenged Him to command stones to be made into bread. Thus for example, in His response to  the “devil’s” subtle attack, Jesus quoted an appropriate scripture in such a simple, but most effective way which is much to be admired. Jesus said to the devil in no uncertain terms,  “It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” [Matthew 4: 4, KJV] Jesus’ use of, or reference to, the terms “Bread” and “Word” in Matthew 4: 4 clearly points out its double meaning..

The double meaning of the term “Bread”

In the above mentioned term, “Bread,” Jesus referred to  it as: (1) Physical bread for the sustenance, and care and protection of the physical man, the body; and (2) Spiritual bread, the Word of God which is appropriate for the spirit man. The former is physical and is made of wheat flour and other ingredients, after they have been thoroughly mixed and baked in an oven: while the latter, is the spiritual “bread” which is the incorruptible Word of God [1 Peter 1:23] Bread can be used in a broader physical sense within the context of the said scripture, and could include the basic necessities of life, namely food, clothes, a proper shelter/house, and every thing for the social well being of man, in order to relate it to our advance societies today. This broader meaning can be draw out from the divine principle which teaches man the methodology of receiving his daily bread, this is, “In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread.” [Genesis 3:19] In other words, God guarentees our material needs through His divine principle, which requires that man do honest work to acquire his food and the basic necessities of life. And of course man has his free will to make choices:

A crucial point in Jesus’ life and how He overcame the Tempter

The term “bread” was used at a crucial, but most appropriate time when Jesus would have been weak in His physical body, after fasting for forty days and forty nights. And there is no gainsaying,  that someone who would have gone that long without food would not be hungry. The very scripture supports this fact. It says, “And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He was afterward a hungered.” [Matthew 4:2] It was at that very moment when His hunger pains would have started to act up in His belly, that the “devil” approached Him to fullfil  the very purpose Jesus was “led up of the Spirit into the wilderness,” namely, “to be tempted of the devil.” It was at that split second when the devil tried to influence and to infiltrate Jesus’ mind to make Him obey his own desire for food; and further, to perform a miracle to satisfy that desire: when Jesus, applied the appropriate Word and said to the tempter, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” And that was howJesus Christ resisted the devil and to remain loyal to God, His heavenly Father.

Jesus the Bread of Life

Thus from the lesson learnt from the above mentioned paragraph, by following Jesus our example, man ought to be equipped and be ready with the Word of God to defeat the purpose of the devil, who is also referred to in the scriptures as a thief. The scriptures say, “The thief cometh not , but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” I am come that they might have life , and that they might have it more abundantly. [John 10: 10] Jesus is the Bread of life, the scriptures say, “I am the Bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst,” [John 6: 35]

In contrast to the devil, Jesus’ purpose here on earth is wrapped up in the scripture which says, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” [John 10:10] Choose the abundant life in Christ Jesus, and do not allow the devil to snach it —His offer and gift of abundant life, from you.

Knowledge for power and to fulfill one’s divine purpose

The Acknowledged term “Bread” used by the devil : and by Jesus the Christ, is important to all mankind in that it gives us an understanding of how to manage our daily bread, and knowledge that there should be a balance between the material  and the spiritual bread. As a result, it gives the informed man a new outlook to life on the level of the spirit. And it guides him in all his decision making ways during his journey here on earth. And susequently, on his departure through a vehicle known as death, to his destiny on a higher spiritual plane; one which Yahweh/Jehovah approves. I close with a promise and scripture that Jesus left man before He departed this physical earth plane.

A promise left us

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” [John 14: 1-3]

If and when you are tempted again, you should know what strategy a to apply, as led by the Spirit of God. Stay bless up in Christ Jesus. Peace.
