EMANCIPATION BY CHRIST BLOOD; THE SOLUTION TO ELIMINATE AFRICAN MENTAL AND SPIRITUAL ENSLAVEMENT BY YEAR 2035

Cultural heritage is the legacy of physical artifacts and intangible attributes of a group or society that are inherited from past generations, maintained in the present and bestowed for the benefit of future generations. Cultural heritage includes tangible culture (such as buildings, monuments, landscapes, books, works of art, and artifacts), intangible culture (such as folklore, traditions, language, and knowledge), and natural heritage (including culturally significant landscapes, and biodiversity).” [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cultural_heritage]

As long as the mind is enslaved, the body can never be free. Psychological freedom, a firm sense of self-esteem, is the most powerful weapon against the long night of physical slavery.

MARTIN LUTHER KING, speech, Aug. 16, 1967

“For as much as ye know that ye were not redeemed (emancipated) with “corruptible things, as silver and gold, nor from your vain conversation (lifestyle) received by TRADITION from your fathers; but with the Precious Blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot….” [1 Peter 1: 18-19]

Emancipation; “mental and Spiritual enslavement,” Devices

Emancipation Day is a Guyanese African Cultural Heritage which is celebrated in the Republic of Guyana, South America, on August 1, each year, by Guyanese to mark an end to the brutal Atlantic Slave Trade. (August 1, 1838) But slavery continues nevertheless in its subtle and varied forms to this date. One such form is, for example, “mental and spiritual enslavement.” The former a legacy of slavery: while the latter is a legacy of Adams transgression in Eden. [Genesis 2:15-17]. What “mental and Spiritual enslavement” is like? For me, “mental and spiritual enslavement” is like “horse and carriage,” which pulls together. The two though being separate entities carry out common operations together, but in the sole self-interest of whosoever controls them: on the other hand, “mental and Spiritual enslavement” is itself the result of the state of a mind already under the continuous influence by dangerous and powerful negative intangible devices, which men use against their fellow men to apprehend and keep them under their control. Some of the devices used as social controls are: diplomacy; psychology, propaganda, marginalization; stigmatization, victimization, are implemented in most systems; policies and programs; in handouts; advertisements, and business transactions and arrangements, just to mention a few.

Reading and Reflection and Motivation

Child reading BookThe above mentioned devices are so effective that many African descendents are deceived and distracted by them without knowing it. So they spread joy nonstop when possible in their comfort zones, and continue to depend totally on hand-made philosophies, and, also to follow blind imitations which have been designed to keep us divided, and impoverish, complacent and neglectful in many ways as a people. Let us consider the sound words of the Shulamite country girl, who loved herself the very way God made her, and who was very assertive in her strong message to the daughter of the City Jerusalem when she said to them:

“I am black but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kadar, as the curtains of Solomon. Look not upon me because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother’s children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but my own vineyard have I not kept.” [Song of Solomon 1:5-6]

As the Shulamite country girl let us start working together as a people towards our own self-interest, that is to say, think out of the box to affect a global emancipation Celebration to mark the end of African descendants’ “mental and Spiritual enslavement” by 2030

Yahweh’s Personal Choice of Worship for African Descendants and all others

Beloved, it is time we believers allow Revolutionary changes to take place from within our inner most being by the power of the Holy Spirit, so that our emancipation from mental and spiritual slavery may be demonstrated on the outside by our daily lifestyle, and by our preaching, teaching and witnessing; while still in the world.  I therefore urge all in agreement to preach relevant messages, according to the Word of God, that would bring about genuine emancipation by the blood of Christ, to our people, and others. And set the stage for a collective tradition in Christ that would make us feel obligated since it would have developed progressively in us as a people, one based on Godly principles which guarantee continuity. For example, a classical one for African descendants to embrace is, God chosen worship through Christ for African descendants which He, in A.D 33-34 made clear to our representative, the Ethiopian Jew, who was in charge of the treasures of Her Majesty Queen Candace of the Ethiopians.

The Effects of Yahweh’s Reformation of A.D.33-34 on the Traditions of the Fathers   Red Flower Lily

You see, through Yahweh’s encounter with our Ethiopian brother, Yahweh would have made him know through Philip the Evangelist, that He had brought an end to all burnt offerings, animal’s blood and animal sacrifices for whatever reasons they kill and offer them [Hebrews 10:4-10]: and instead shifted the focus of African descendants to the highest focus on Christ His perfect sacrifice for our EMANCIPATION. In reforming the man-made tabernacle—a copy of the heavenly, Yahweh shifted the focus on the true heavenly tabernacle in which “Christ, who became a his high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands,” and who entered the heavenly tabernacle not with the blood of goats and calves, which could not remove man’s guilt: but by His own blood He entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption/emancipation for us.”[Hebrews 9:11-12] Praise the Lord. Your Emancipation by Christ’s blood is Guaranteed.

No man can emancipate himself: without the power of the Holy Spirit

It is noteworthy that “mental and spiritual enslavement” is inner, and therefore operates within each individual. But to be emancipated from this condition is beyond human reach. No man can emancipate himself from “mental and spiritual enslavement.”  It takes the blood of Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit to deliver each individual from his particular state of “mental and spiritual enslavement.” The mental aspect has to do with the mind-set of the individual, and the choice he/she makes. It was Paul the apostle who begged the believers at Rome not to be confirmed to this world [1 John 2:15-17], but, rather to be transformed by the renewing of their mind… to do the perfect will of God…. It all boils down to having an open mind, and to think out of the box to bring about Change, according to God’s purpose…. [Romans 12:1-2] Fortunately, with free access, by grace through faith in Christ, to the supernatural mind of God in Christ, we, African descendants, and others, should seek our redemption (emancipation) now, from “mental and spiritual enslavement” from the heart.

Twenty First Century  Emancipation by the Blood of Christ  Avialable to All for free

According to the Word of God, “mental and spiritual enslavement”—the current arch enemy of African descendants’ socio-economic growth and development, was overcome by Believers and members of the First Century Church. Peter the Apostle not only acknowledged that they (the believers) individually and collectively, were emancipated from their intangible house of bondage, namely, —“mental and spiritual enslavement,” but also made mention of it in his epistle to them. It says:
“For as much as ye know that ye were not redeemed (emancipated) with “corruptible things, as silver and gold, nor from your vain conversation (lifestyle) received by TRADITION from your fathers; but with the Precious Blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot….” [1 Peter 1: 18-19]
Interestingly, “mental and spiritual enslavement” though intangible may be overcome, and totally eliminated by all victims with this condition, who trust God Almighty, and Christ to redeem/to emancipate them by the power of the Holy Spirit. There is therefore hope for our seemingly hopeless African descendants with the legacy of “mental and spiritual enslavement,” and who have a longing to be liberated or set free, through Christ’s blood and work of redemption at Calvary. [John: 19:30] Let us look to Christ, who was lifted up that whosoever looks up to Him might be healed. Therefore in Christ there is much hope for us.

Two extremes, namely, “sin unto death ”and“ obedience unto righteousness”:

Inward Jew (In-Jew) is defined in Romans 2:29. As we confirm to this scripture we rise by faith to become an InJew Nation in Christ.[1 Peter 2:9-10] And the Holy Spirit molds and fashions us progressively into polished diamonds, in Christ Jesus.

May I submit to you that, the Gospel of Jesus Christ guarantees full emancipation for whosoever believes, and would exercise his/her faith in Christ Jesus, without wavering. The scriptures would have us know about the two intangible extremes, namely, “sin unto death,” and “obedience unto righteousness”: one of which man becomes servant to— depending on which one he yields himself to obey. [Romans 6:15] In addition, there is a biblical testimony that supports the fact that indeed “servants of sin” were emancipated when they obeyed the apostolic doctrine from the heart, that is, these simple truths from the Word of God which I am sharing with you now. And as a result, the obedient became “servants of righteousness.”

In Paul’s letter to the Believers in Christ at Roman, he confirmed the SHIFT of status from one of “sin of unto death” to a higher level, that of “obedience unto righteousness.”  In Romans 6:17-22 Paul wrote:

For when ye were the servants of sin; ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life” [Romans 6:17-22]

Emancipation by the Blood of Christ is in progress

My Brethren and Friends, during this post emancipation period [August 1, 1838- August 1, 2015], it is not that we, African descendents, have not achieved much, and have not grown, but, the truth is that we have been working in the self-interest of everyone else, and have been neglecting our own collective self-interest all these 177 years. And as a result, we remain stuck, and in some cases puffed up with pride, in our several sets of man-made divisions—all legacy of slavery. Therefore we, each in our tradition, have different reactions when it comes to change. For example, some say that “we come and meet it suh, and we guyne die in it suh.” But a revolutionary change globally from the bondage of “mental and spiritual enslavement” to one of REDEMPTION/EMANCIPATION by “the precious blood of Christ” [1 Peter 1: 18-19], is in progress already. And African descendants are coming together as a people and will develop progressively our collective ideas in righteousness from within, which will give us a feeling of obligation and a sense of knowing that we as free thinkers can identify with inspired ideas of our own, and pass down our tradition to our future generations. I consider this to be one of the greatest victories for African descendants this Twenty First Century.
Prayer
Yahweh, I decree the elimination of “mental and spiritual enslavement” through redemption; emancipation by the blood of Christ [Romans 6:17], and by faith in Him. Amen. I pray that the relevant inspired preaching and teaching to affect genuine change of hearts of hearers and doers of your Word across the globe, and that your sings and miracles would follow us as we pray in Jesus’ name, as well as our ministries, and that multitudes of victims of mental and spiritual enslavement would return to you, repent and receive Christ in their hearts by Faith. Amen.

May the God of peace richly bless you and your household, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Serving in newness of spirit,

Pastor: Elder Wilfred A. Wilson
