Message

There was always a revival of YAHWEH’S righteous standard after a falling -away…

Beloved, there was not a time in the Biblical History of Man when after a falling-away from Yahweh’s righteous standards that there was not a  rise and demonstration of it again among a faithful few, who by His grace did not stand by the standard of the world, but instead, the righteous standard of Yahweh. And this pattern can be traced back to Genesis, and from there throughout the Bible unto the Book of Revelation. It is noteworthy that both the ungodly and the Godly lived together in the same communities, and were not separated, but rather, there was  a separateness on the part of the Godly, in the sense that they were set apart unto Yahweh the Most High, as vessel to be used by Him, one that would bring honor and glory to His Holy name. And this separateness is also evident even onto the Day of Judgment when according to Psalm 1: 4-6] which says:

The two distinct congregations on the Day of Judgment

“… The ungodly are not so: but are like the shaft which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the Judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knoweth the ways of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.” [Psalm 1: 4-6]

The first mentioned congregation in the Book of Genesis

Beloved, the first mentioned congregation in the Book of Genesis commenced with Adam and Eve, who were our first parents, with whom Yahweh came down in the cool of the day (evening) and communed. According to the Word of God:

“… And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said, where are you? And he said, “I heard your voice walking in the garden and I was afraid, because I was naked and I hid myself.”[Genesis 3:8-10]

Adam was naked because he had fallen away from Yahweh’s Righteous Standard due to disobedience when he transgressed the command of Yahweh and broke the Covenant between them. The very covenant of Genesis 2:16-17 says:

The Covenant

“And the Lord God commanded the man saying, “Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it: for in the day thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” [Genesis 2:1617]

Righteous Seeds born to Adam’s generation 

After Adam’s fall from Yahweh’s standard of righteousness, it is noteworthy that he went out of the Presence of the Lord God. Cain suffered the same fate. [Genesis 4:16] And the next righteous seed to be born to Adam’s generation was Abel, followed by Seth according to the scriptures which say,

“And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: for God, said she, had appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.” [Genesis 4:25-26] Following Seth was Enos. It is written:

“And to Seth, to him also was born a son, and he called his name Enos then began men to call upon the name of the Lord.” [Genesis 4:26] It was in Enos’ day when people started recognizing themselves as the People of God. Following Enos the next righteous seed of Adam’s generation was Enoch. The scriptures declare:

“…And Jared lived one hundred sixty two years: and he begat Enoch…. And Enoch walked with God: and he was not, for God took him.” [Genesis 5:18-24]

And following Enoch, a recognized righteous seed, I want to chat briefly about in this Post is Noah, the son of Lamesh. And, of course, the righteous seed of Yahweh continued unto father Abraham,

whom Yahweh had promised that in his Seed all the nations of the earth will be blessed. [Genesis: 4-5]

Yahweh’s promise to Abraham

“After these things the Word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and shield and exceedingly great reward.  And Abram said, behold to me thou hast given no seed the Word of the Lord came to be Him, saying, ‘This shall not be thine heir.’ And He brought him forth abroad, and said, ‘Look now towards heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, so shall thy seed be.’ And he believed in the Lord; and He counted it for righteousness.  [Genesis 15:1-6]

O Yes, “While not of the world, but still in it: pursue by faith Christ’s way of life in His separate world of the righteousness of Yahweh the Most high, the Most high, the principles of which has been promulgated, lived and maintained by the faithful few by His grace in every epoch among the ungodly. Let us give Yahweh the highest praise!!! Hallelujaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!

This brings us to examine briefly the Society in Noah’s day

In Genesis 6:1-8, we see that as the population of that society increased, wickedness increased also. The Genesis account says that the sons of God [the righteous seed] saw the daughters of men [those who did not know about Yahweh and His righteousness] that “they were fair, and they took them wives of all they chose.”

How the Lord reacted

“My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for he also is flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty.”[Genesis 6:3]

Root cause of their fall-away from the righteousness of Yahweh

It is noteworthy that when their eyes were moved away from the things of Yahweh: and instead, started to lust after the flesh of the worldly daughters of men and even though they were married to those women, the products of those union produced off springs that were so wicked in heart that, “It repented the Lord that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart.” And Yahweh promised to destroy both man and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air….” [Genesis 6:6-7]

“But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.” [Genesis 6:8]

In the midst of all the ungodly and corrupt practices of our 21^st Century Society, which they called modern and civilized, and where in some cases the moral standards of some are lower than those of the lower animals:  Jesus the Christ our Example and chosen promised Seed of the righteousness of Yahweh stands out. And Yahweh’s righteousness which is by faith in Jesus the Christ, is the universal standard by which Yahweh the Most high will measure the works of all nations and judge them.

All men need to come to Christ to be justified by faith. Redemption is NOT by the blood of animals, such as bulls and rams…: rather it is by precious blood of Jesus the Christ. [1 Peter 1:18-19]

Finally, my beloved Reader, it is the precious “blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.”
