About our God Yahweh

The Inward Jew Nation of God with deep roots in Guyana, South America, worship Yahweh as our single object of worship through Christ Jesus His Son. And our God Yahweh is the very God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, to whom he had made a covenant, so Yahweh is a covenant keeping God. Yahweh is also Sabbatarian since His work at creating the physical universe, this is, “The heavens and the earth was finished, and all the host of them” in the sixth day. And on the seventh day Yahweh ended His work which He had made, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which he created and made.” And Yahweh blessed the seventh day and sanctified it: because in it He had rested from all His work which He created and made.” [Genesis 2: 1-3]

We, the Inward Jew Nation of God, in identifying steadily with Yahweh’s Sabbath Rest at creation, acknowledge that Yahweh is our God, and that we are His people among others, who He has “reconciled to Himself by Jesus Christ. And has given to us the ministry of reconciliation.” [11 Corinthians 5:18] Also, as we “Rest” in the seventh day as Yahweh did: we keep the divine tradition handed down to us fresh in our memories, and our relationship with Yahweh, and with one another strong. And it is this essential force behind our common tradition of cessation from our own works, as Yahweh did from His, to enter into His Sabbath Rest in the seventh day to be refreshed and be strengthened by the infallible Word: that would break the devil’s religious divide among our people: and, instead, mould our actions and determine our behavior that we may grow and mature together as the Inward Jew Nation of God, to the glory of God our heavenly Father.

Concerning the above mentioned covenant

Concerning the above mentioned covenant, Yahweh had appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, and had established His covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan. During that time, however, He had made His name known to them by the name God Almighty, but they did not know Him by the name JEHOVAH.

Yahweh remembered His Covenant

And in Moses’ day when the children of Israel were made slaves in Egypt, Yahweh heard their groaning and remembered His covenant which he had established with their ancestors Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And Yahweh commanded Moses to say to the Children of Israel, “I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm and with great judgments.

And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

And I will bring you in unto the land concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an inheritance: I am the Lord.” [Exodus 6: 6-8]

The Good News of deliverance for all in bondage today through Christ

Beloved, in the twenty first century today, in this post emancipation period which commenced after August 1,1838, we, the children of our Ancestors from West Africa and Angola, who were made slaves, and were made to work under forced labor in the European plantations in the West Indies and the Americas, are under a new form of slavery, namely, mental and spiritual, other.

But the Good News is that Yahweh has long before the foundation of the world made provision to deliver us and all others who believe from this bondage. Let us Give Yahweh Praise! HallelujaaaaaaaH!!!

Unlike the Ancient Hebrews of the Old Testament, who were under Moses the faithful servant of Yahweh, when Yahweh led them out of bondage under Pharaoh the king of Egypt with a stretched out arm: we, the Inward Jew Nation of God, are under Christ the Son of Yahweh, and Head of His household, who is willing and well able and to set us free from all forms of bondage, and to redeem us with His precious blood by grace through faith in Him, the moment anyone believes. Let us raise our hands and say thank you Jesus.

And our journey is not a physical one towards a promised land in time, for example, Canaan: rather, it’s the bigger picture of a promised “Rest” both here on earth and over there throughout Eternity. Could you say Amen? I thank you. Amen.

Beloved, our Inward Jew Nation of God is not under the Old Covenant: rather, we are under the New Covenant, which states, this is the covenant I will make with them after those days, said the Lord, “I will put my laws into their hears and in their minds will I write them: and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.” [Hebrews 10:16-17] “Now where remission of these (sins and iniquities) is, there is no more offering for sin.” [Hebrews 10:17-18] Praise the Lord!

And concerning His promised “Rest,” (1) the inward Jew Nation of God go to Christ for “Rest” by faith. [Matthew 11:28-30] and (2) “And he that is entered into His “Rest,” he also hath ceased from his own works, as Yahweh did from His.” [Hebrews 4:10]

My thoughts

We, the Inward Jew Nation of God, due to our belief, are privileged to be a spindle in the hub of Yahweh’s universal wheel, which has been rotating in His unchanging scheme of work and tradition since at creation, this is, “Cessation of work in the sixth day” He has prescribed, and “Rest in the seventh day,” which He has sanctified (set apart) and blessed. [Genesis 2-3]

Finally, as an ambassador for Christ, [11 Corinthians 5:20] I urge you on His behalf to be reconciled to God our heavenly Father today, and endeavor to enter into His Rest: for there “remaineth a Sabbath Rest” in the seventh day for the people of God. [Hebrews 4: 9]

My Prayer

That you find the time to enter into His rest in the seventh day in spite of all obstacles, is my fervent prayer, in Jesus’ name. amen.

The significance of Yahweh’s Rest

According to the scripture, it is abundantly clear that Yahweh our heavenly Father, in His infinite wisdom, saw it fit to end His work at Creation on the seventh day; and to rest in it.

The significance of Rest on the seventh day is, that it is originated in Yahweh our heavenly Father and creator of heaven and earth. And when Yahweh rested in the seventh day, all creation in heaven and earth rested too, as one integral part of His Universal Seventh Day Rest Cycle.

Interesting, and happily, Yahweh changed neither His Six Days Work Week cycle, nor His Seventh Day Rest Cycle to this date: instead man did. As It is written, “I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.” [Malachi 3:6]

Beloved, it is therefore mandatory that Yahweh’s creation identify with His Rest at creation with the understanding of its bigger picture, which is, that it points to His Future Eternal Rest for us all in His Kingdom throughout eternity, but until then conditions are applied.

That one’s salvation or redemption is necessary, because it serves as a passport to enter into the eternal kingdom of Yahweh and His Eternal Sabbath Rest in glory.
One’s salvation is by faith through the precious blood of Christ the Son of Yahweh, who died for the sins of the world. And that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. [1 Peter 1:18-19]; John 3:16-17]
Man must within his lifetime bring his body, soul and spirit back in line with the Infallible Word of God, and establish a right relationship with the heavenly Father through Christ His Son.

Apart from the Eternal Rest (Sabbath) in the future Eternal Kingdom, there is this rest in Christ which He has extended to individuals, all peoples and to all nations. It is written, “Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest…” [Matthew 11:28-30, Hebrews 10:16-18]

It is important that all who believe should seek and enter the above mentioned Rest in Christ, by faith which is under the New Testament and the New Covenant. [Matthew 11:28-30, Hebrews 10:16-18]

Three ways the term ‘Sabbath’ or ‘Rest’ is used in this post

Beloved, let’s dive deeper in order to understand how Yahweh’s Rest at Creation relates to that of the indwelling Christ, who has been offering His Eternal Rest to man. Please turn your Bible with me to Genesis 2:2 which reads, “And on the seventh day Yahweh ended His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His works.”

Beloved, concerning the term ‘Rest’ which Christ is offering everyone, [Matthew 11: 28-30], it is twofold in meaning:

“Come unto me … and I will give you rest.” ‘Rest’ in this line means a literal rest, or peace, relaxation or repose.
“Learn of me …, and you will find “rest” for your souls. “Rest” in this line means recreation during a period of intermission. And it is a benefit for the individual who takes Christ’s yoke upon himself, for it is not heavy and neither is Christ’s burden: in comparison to the yoke and the burden of the world which are heavy and which are without rest or relaxation. [Matthew 11:28-30]
The third form of the term ‘Sabbath’ is used to mean cessation. For example, cessation from our own dead works, sinful works, which are influenced by our personal fallen nature within us. It is Christ, who works on the inside and separates us from the inner world of sin, and sets us apart unto God our heavenly Father, to serve Him, instead. [Hebrews 4: 10]

It is a fact that ungodly desires of the flesh are influenced by the Adamic or fallen nature in man. And that according to the scriptures, Believers are commanded to mortify the deeds of the flesh as described in [Galatians 5: 16- 21; Colossians 3:5-9] in order to overcome or conquer them (our wicked deeds) by faith, in Jesus’s name: and move on to higher levels with our spiritual life through Christ His Son.

Thus the degenerated seeker whose desire is to pursue the higher and deeper life in Christ, must first crucify the ‘Old Man,’ or the Fallen or the Adamic Nature within him/her progressively. And here is where the importance of and need for the Word comes in, in order to shed light on “baptism into Jesus Christ.” This is so because “baptism into Jesus Christ is “baptism into His death,” which is a key ordinance and requirement in the process of one’s personal crucifixion of his/her fallen. Perhaps you may want to know how to do this by faith, and the answer is in the following text of scripture. It is written:

“Know ye not that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also shall walk in the newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection: knowing this that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also lie with Him. Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more power over Him. For in that He died He died unto sin once; but in that He liveth he liveth unto God. Likewise recon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye shall obey it the lust thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instrument of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you; for ye are not under the law but under grace.” [Romans 6:14]

Now having crucified the old man by faith through baptism into Jesus Christ, [Romans 6: 3-4] the Seeker of truth has to yield to the Word and the Spirit, and be obedient to their leading, even as He reads and study his Bible, and pray about that particular sin that the Holy Spirit convicted him/her of, and he/she wants to overcome. So, the Seeker of truth prays and exercise his/her faith for deliverance from, say, a particular sin, the indwelling Christ working on the inside of the Seeker will do His part and will miraculously separate the Seeker from that particular sin, so that he ceases from it, or experience a ‘sabbath’ or ‘cessation,’ in the sense that he/she gets a ‘rest’ from that particular vice. For example: say, the habit of gossiping and envying others, or whatever; and it is important to know how to experience a sabbath from this particular vice?

What the scriptures say about the vice of gossiping and envying: and how to receive a sabbath or rest from it, or how to overcome it.

Now, Please turn your Bible to James Chapter 3, let’s read from verses 6-18: and let us allow the Word and the Holy Spirit minister to us. It reads:

“And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defiled the whole body, and setteth on fire the course f nature; and it is set on fire of hell. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of thigs in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed by mankind: but the tongue can no man tame, it is an unruly evil, full of deadly posion. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; (a single God, who is the Father, period.) and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing.

My brethren, these things ought not so to be. Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet waterand bitter? Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? So can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. Who is a wise man and endured with knowledge among you? Let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

The paragraph below describes the earthly wisdom

But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descended not from above, but it is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

Know the wisdom that is from our heavenly Father, above

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good works, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.”

My thoughts and encouragement

Bitter envying and strive is earthly, carnal and devilish, but it can be overcome by faith by anyone, who believes from the heart the infallible Word, and repent…. Further, he/she must receive Christ as their personal Savior and Lord, by faith: and in so doing come under the blood of Christ and renounce the devilish spirit from their life, and bind it by faith in Jesus’ name.

Work on all devilish attitudes …..One must continue in the faith and be obedient to the Word and the Spirit after he/she has been liberated by the power of Christ.

Let’s remember that, “one’s attitude: determines one’s altitude.”

Yahweh our gracious heavenly Father has given every one a mind of his own, this means that everyone has a free will, and the power to reason and to choose. So of the two altitudes mentioned: ‘earthly wisdom’ and ‘wisdom that is from above.’ choose this day which one you would embrace.

Anyone who chooses wisdom from above’ may start working on a vice from within that they want to overcome, by reading, studying and applying the appropriate scriptures to their life for their deliverance from that sin, by faith in Jesus’ name.

Remember too, that when you come to Christ, and cast your burden upon Him, and He separates you from the world of your particular sin/s operation within your members, so that you no longer have the desire to serve the sin/s you had loved to do so much: know that: (1) that cessation from it/them, is a sign of a sabbath, (2) Christ has given you rest from that/those sin/s, and (3) He has set you apart or sanctified you to serve Yahweh the one true living God.

Why the Inward Jew Nation of God embraces the New Testament Rest/ Sabbath

We, the Inward Jew Nation of God embrace the New Testament Rest/ Sabbath because (A) it is originated in Yahweh our heavenly Father, “in whom we live and dwell and have our being.” [Acts 17:28] (B) The seventh day Sabbath is blessed. [Genesis 2:2] (C) The Sabbath was made for man. (D) Working six days doing secular work, resting our physical body on the seventh day, and spending ample time in Yahweh’s awesome presence where we are refreshed and strengthened by the Word etc. is a great benefit to us. [Mark 2:27] (E) By keeping the seventh day sabbath rest in Christ, we by indentifying with Yahweh’s cessation of work on that day, we show love and respect for our heavenly Father and obedience to His Word. [Deuteronomy 6:4-9] (F) The seventh day Sabbath/ Rest is the Inward Jew Nation of God Culture.

The daily battle to overcome sin and to cease from such dead works within our members is a challenge that every believer must pursue by faith, in Jesus’ name. It is an objective towards our final goal to enter Yahweh’s Future Eternal Kingdom Rest, which we look forward to and are reminded of every seventh day when we meet together and identify with Yahweh’s Rest at Creation.

Our spiritual Journey

The Journey of the Inward Jew into the Promised Rest in Christ is a spiritual one by faith in Christ Jesus. And this Journey that seeks to find God the Father, and this promised peace is Christ is spiritually sound. According to the scriptures:

“Yahweh who made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth …, Hath made one blood of all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; that they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after Him, and find Him, though He be not far from every one of us.” [Acts 17:26-28]

In our short journey on the earth, apart from secular education and work for our daily sustenance, we seek Yahweh with all our heart, and our pursuit to find Him is our personal priority.

Transform your physical body by faith into a holy Temple of God for His habitation

And according to the scriptures, Yahweh is not far from any one of us, “For in Him we dwell and move, and have our being.” [Acts 17:28] But Yahweh who made the world and all the things therein, seeing that He is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands: rather, He dwells in the human body of individuals, as well as in groups in union with Christ when we present ourselves before Him as a living sacrifice, holy, and it must be acceptable unto Him. And we must realize that by voluntarily presenting our bodies a living sacrifice unto Yahweh is a service that is reasonable in the sense that we can in no way repay Yahweh for all that He has done and continues to do for us, individually and collectively to this date.

Beloved, for anyone to experience Yahweh’s purpose for His life, in terms of experiencing the full effects of dwelling, and moving and existing in Yahweh, he must: (1) first love Him from the heart, (2) have a longing for such an experience, (3) empty himself/herself from worldliness, (4) must pray without ceasing, and (5) believe and apply the infallible Word to his life daily, by faith. And, in spite of the obstacles, or constraints that may come his/her way he/she must by the grace of Yahweh be that determined to see them as challenges and allow the obstacles to propel him/her to accomplish their goal.

A seeker of God first priority

A first goal to be accomplished and to be maintained by the seeker of Yahweh is to return to Him, repent and be converted, and become as a little child, who is teachable, in order to enter into the promised Rest that is in Christ Jesus. Please understand that one cannot liberate or redeem one’s self. Redemption is made possible by the precious blood of Christ. Peter the Apostle said to our predecessors, (those are the Saints of the first century Church, who have lived the lifestyle of Christ, and have gone before us and who knew it so well) when Peter said to them, “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things,(things that can be destroyed) as silver and gold, from your vain (empty) conversation (lifestyle and customs) received by traditions of your fathers;

But with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you.” [1 Peter 1:18-20] Christ paid a great price for mankind’s liberation!

Liberation or freedom from sin and from physical, mental and spiritual bondage, is Yahweh’s will and purpose for any one or any people who diligently seek Him, and this includes you, the Reader. Besides, Yahweh also demands separateness on the part of His People from the corrupt behavior of the ungodly Nations and He expects His People to obey His ruling. [Deuteronomy 7: 1-4]

The Inward Jew Nation understanding of separateness

Separateness for the Inward Jew Nation of God, means non-conformity to worldly and the immoral standards and customs and cultures demonstrated in today’s society by the ungodly: but we must be always willing to take advantage of every opportunity to share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all who are interesting enough and would find the time to read, or to listen to our messages that, “The light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” [11 Corinthians 4: 4]

Interestingly, in the Old Testament, Yahweh demanded the Ancient Hebrew whom He adopted as His inheritance and holy nation to demonstrate separateness from the worldly and immoral lifestyle and customs of the seven nations in Palestine, when He would have brought the younger generations who would have been led by Joshua and Caleb into the Promise Land to possess it. Separateness from the immoral behaviors was key to the Hebrews maintaining their possession of the Promised Land: while Yahweh drove out the seven ungodly nations who were greater in numbers than they.

For the sake of emphasis …

The journey to a place of promise is common to both the Hebrews Nation of the Old Testament and the Inward Jew Nation of the New Testament. The former was a physical journey which started from their Exodus from Egypt to the Wilderness of Sinai and from thence as a nation of God into the Promised Land: while the latter is a spiritual journey which guarantees freedom or redemption and deliverance from sin and bondage, and of slavery of the mind and of the human spirit by the precious blood of Christ, and thence, as a Nation of God entering into by faith, the promised eternal Rest in Christ, who has extended a universal invitation to all Nations and people when He said:

“Come unto to me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you Rest (peace). Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” [Matthew 11:28-30]

Conclusion

Beloved, I conclude this Chat with the following scripture with the hope that it would inspire many to seek the true eternal Rest in Christ Jesus today.

“There remaineth therefore a Rest to the People of God. For he that is entered into His rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from His. Let us labor therefore to enter into that Rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.” [Hebrews 4:9-11] May God richly bless you.

About Monotheism!

We, the Inward Jew Nation of God, in Guyana, South America, believe in a single (Monos) God, namely, Yahweh the Father of all and Most High, who is a divine Spirit. [John 4:23-24, 17: 3] Yahweh changes not…. [Malachi 3:6] Again, “Yahweh is not a man that He should lie; neither the son of man that He should repent.” [Numbers 23:18-19]

The religious beliefs and practices and the Way of Life of the Inward Jew Nation of God, Guyana, South America, are known by us as ‘Inward Jewism’ (hereinafter called INJEWISM)

We are a holy Nation of God: meaning that we are a peculiar group of people with a common history, a common destiny, and a common understanding that under Christ Jesus our everlasting High Priest, and the New Testament covenant, there is forgiveness of sins and iniquities. And “where remission of these is, there is no more offering of sin.” Further, we are in union with Christ, through whom we are connected one to the other in His love. [1 Peter 2:9-10; Hebrews 10:14-18, 1 John 4:9-17]

INJEWISM was coined by me from the term “Jew inwardly”+ism. (Romans 2:29) And our belief in a single God (Monotheism) is also characteristic of InJewism. The monotheism that characterizes (distinguishes) InJewism, with origin in Guyana South America, is our recognition and acceptance of Yahweh our Creator of the Universe, as our single object of worship through Jesus Christ (Yeshua) our Savior and Lord. It is written:

“Though there be that are called gods, to us there is but One God, the Father,” for whom we live and serve, through Christ His Son. [Deuteronomy 6:4-9; 1 Corinthians 8:5-6

Our Statement of Faith

We believe:

In the infallible, inspired Word of Yahweh, our omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent Creator [11 Timothy 3:16; 1 Peter 1:20-21]
That there is only one God, Yahweh, our Father, of whom are all things, and we in Him, who is the Creator of all things and unto whom we live; one Lord, Jesus Christ (Yehshua Messiah) by whom are all things and we by Him [1 Corinthian 8:3-6]
That Jesus (Yehshua) was born of the Virgin Mary, crucified, buried, resurrected, and sat on the right hand of Yahweh as intercessor [Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 2:1-20; Hebrews 10: 6-12]
That the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of Yahweh and of Yehshua) is “another comforter” whom Yahweh sent to abide with Believers forever. That He indwells, guides, enlightens and empowers each ‘Born Again Believer’ and the Church (the Family of Yahweh) as a whole for service [John 15:26,16:7-14]
That the Ten Commandments embodied in one word ‘Love’ are Yahweh’s standard for “the people of God” both before and after the cross of our Lord Jesus the Christ [Matthew 22:36-40]
In taking delight in the Spiritual “Sabbath/Rest” in Christ, of which He is Lord, and in identifying with Yahweh’s seventh (7th day) Sabbath Rest at creation [Matthew 11:28-30; Hebrews 4:3-11]
In repentance for everyone in order to receive forgiveness of sin [Mark 1:15; Acts 3:19]
That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are made possible through faith in Jesus Christ (Yehshua Messiah) [Romans 5:1; Titus 3:7; John 3: 3 & 5; 1 John 3:9]
In sanctification through the blood of Jesus Christ [1 Corinthians 1:30; Hebrews 13:12]
In the speaking of tongues for self–edification, and in the interpretation of it to edify and comfort the Church [1 Corinthians 14: 26-33]
In water baptism by immersion and in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, in the symbolic burial with Him by Baptism into death! [Romans 6:4] and as Christ was raised up from the dead: even so we rise by faith to walk in newness of life [[Acts 2: 38, 10: 44-48, 19:1-6 Romans 6: 4]
In divine healing [Psalm 103: 3, Isaiah 53:4-5]
In the Lord’s Supper [Luke 22:17-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26]
In sacrificial giving: and giving out of the abundance of the heart [Luke 21: 1-4, 6:36-38]

15. In the only one appearance of Jesus Christ at His second coming. Yehshua, while still in the air, will gather the righteous dead, and the living saints; and together we will meet Him in the air where we will reign with Him for a thousand years/many years [1 Corinthians 15: 52; 1 Thessalonians 4: 15-17; 2 Thessalonians 1: 7-10; Revelation 5:10, 20:4] 16. That the saints will inherit the earth, [Revelation 4: 9-11]and 17. In the bodily resurrection: Eternal life for the righteous [Matthew 25:46; John 10:28; Romans 6:22] and

18: Eternal punishment for the wicked [Matthew 25:41-46; Revelation 20:10-15]

Text:“And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt. But God led the people about the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.” [Exodus 13:17]

Definition:

Departure: – Going away; a deviation from (the truth, a standard); the starting of a train, air craft, etc. (2) Setting out on a course of action, or thought.

The Journey

The Departure, or Exodus, by the Ancient Hebrews was from physical slavery and bondage in Egypt under Pharaoh. According to the Old Testament, Yahweh/Jehovah led the Hebrew slaves, who were under Moses’ leadership, out of the land of Egypt with an out stretched hand; and guided them into the wilderness where they spent 40 years wandering, “Until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the Lord had was consumed,” [Numbers 32:13] thence into Canaan the Promised Land.

Interestingly, to keep the Ancient Hebrews separate from the world, and set apart unto Himself in the Promised Land when they would have gotten there, Yahweh commanded that the Hebrews should not follow the way of life, or the lifestyle of the seven ungodly Nations whom He had planned to cast out before them. It is written:

“And when the Lord shall have delivered them before thee, thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shalt show no mercy with them: neither shall thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shall not give unto his son, nor his daughter shall thou take unto thy son. For they will turn away thy son from following me that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly…. ” [Deuteronomy 7:1-10]

The World in contrast to the Word

Beloved, the Biblical definition of the term ‘world’ would help us to understand why. Please reach for your Bible and find 1John Chapter 2 and let’s read verses 15-17. It says,

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” (KJV)

Beloved, you will agree with me, according to the Word in the above mentioned definition:

That there is a clear cut distinction between ‘the love of the world’, and ‘the love of the heavenly Father’
That there is no ‘love of the Father’ in anyone, who loves the world
That desires of the flesh, and those of the eyes, as well as those temporal things in this life that make man so proud are not of the heavenly Father
That the definition also gives the reader/student a sense of knowing which of the two, namely, ‘the world,’ or ‘the doer of the will of God,’ will last for ever, and
That our heavenly Father’s will is, that His love be in the individual: and non- conformity to the world through a mind renewed by His power is what makes His love in the Believer possible. [Romans 12:1-2; 1John 2:15-16]

Yahweh gives us a sense of belonging and identity

Thankfully, the Heavenly Father gives those of us who choose to be committed to His love, a sense of belonging, as well as a sense of identity, too. For example, the heavenly Father claimed ownership of the liberated in both periods, namely, the Old and the New Testament:

The Old Testament

(1) To Ancient Hebrews under the law: Moses said to them,

“For thou art a holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto Himself above all that are on the face of the earth. The Lord did not set His love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people. But because the Lord loved you, and because He would keep the oath which He had sworn unto your fathers, hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bond men, from the hand of Pharaoh King of Egypt. [Deuteronomy 7:6-8]

The New Testament

(2) To those of us under Grace through faith in Christ, the Word (New Testament scripture) is saying to us,
“If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious, to whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ….” “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light: which in time past you were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.” [1Peter 2:9-10]

Important truths we, who are committed to the love of the heavenly Father, must know are:

That YAHWEH is a jealous God. [Exodus 20:4]
That Yahweh the Lord our God, “He is God, the faithful God, which keepeth the covenant and mercy of them that love Him and keepeth His commandment to a thousand generations; and repayeth them that hate Him to the face, to destroy them….” [Deuteronomy 7:6-10]
That we should not put other gods before Him [Exodus 20:3]
That no carved image, or likeness of things in the three dimensions should be made, or served or worshiped
That Yahweh our Father and Creator of heaven and earth visits the iniquity of the fathers upon the children of the third and fourth generation of them that hate Him, and shows mercy unto thousands of them who love Him and keep is words, and [Exodus 20:4]
That we should not take the name of Yahweh the Lord in vain.

Beloved, an example of Yahweh’s judgement poured out upon the iniquity of those Ancient Hebrews, “who had turned aside quickly out of the way” which He had commanded them: and had made and worshiped a molten calf, may be found in Exodus 32:1-10] Please read said verses of scripture to confirm said statement

My thoughts

In the Old Testament, Yahweh’s judgement upon the rebellious was swift: but, today, it is slow but sure. And “we get away with “murder” as we often say. Thanks to Yahweh for His extended grace and mercy towards mankind as a whole, through Christ Jesus our Savior and Lord.

Beloved, separateness from the world is a requirement of Yahweh, that we ought to obey in order to be set apart unto Him, and to partake in the bigger picture of His love for His people both now, and beyond this temporal life, even in eternity.

As Cain

Beloved, as Cain, most people in the world today have either been ignoring, or rejecting the Creator of heaven and earth, for reasons best known to them. But one common reason for their rejection and rebellion is because they want to live their own ungodly lives breaking, if necessary, all the rules in order to achieve their goals.

And in as much as some others honor the Creator, they only do so with their lips, but their heart is far from Him. [Matthew 15:8] As a result, their worship, their gifts and sacrifices do not bring honor and glory to God the Creator of heaven and earth. Lip service is not enough, you see!

The one sacrifice that stands out

Interestingly, of all the sacrifices ever made for sins, there is only one that stands out in the eyes of the Creator of heaven and earth. And this is the sacrifice of His Son Jesus the Christ, the Lamb of God, whom He “sent in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” [Romans 8:3-4]

And walking after the flesh is the same as or a demonstration of “going out from the presence of the Lord and dwelling in the land of Nod,” (Wandering) [Genesis 4:16] in a spiritual sense.

The better sacrifice for sin

But walking in the Spirit according to His leading, and by accepting the better sacrifice for sin which Yahweh has chosen, and, thus, approved for all mankind, namely, the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ our heavenly high Priest: believers in union with Christ can be assured that we are in, and will remain in our Creator’s eternal presence. Besides, unlike the earthly Priests, Believers in Christ have a heavenly and everlasting High Priest, who now appears in the presence of God for us 24/7. It is written:

“For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins, who can have compassion on the ignorant , and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself is compassed with infirmity. And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself. And no man taketh this honor unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.

So Christ glorifieth not himself to be made a high priest; but He that said unto Him,

“Thou art my Son, today have I begotten thee. [Hebrews 5:1-5]

Again,

“…And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission for sin. It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true, but into the heavens itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us. Nor yet that he should offer Himself often, as the high priest entered in the holy place with blood of others; for then he often must have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world Christ world hath He appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. And as it is appointed unto men for once to die, but after this the judgment: so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many, and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” [Hebrews 9:22-28]

Give the Creator your best

Beloved, please be reminded, or informed that our sins were already paid for by the death of Jesus the Christ. And if not saved, and you have a desire to be saved and to dwell in God’s presence, what you need to do is to repent of your sins, invite Christ into your heart and ask him to save you from sin, the power of sin and the penalty of sin. Surrender yourself life completely to your Creator, through Christ our Savior and Lord. Read your Bible and pray and shower God your heavenly Father, with the sacrifice of your gift of praise, and sincere worship. It is written:

“God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. [John 4:24]
About your Worship, Protection and Divine Guidance

To get the full experience of true worship one must first enter into His presence. Let us practicing the presence of God on a daily basis is important to believers (A) to ensure that we are in a safe place of protection, and (B) that His presence is going before us.

With respect to His protection, it is written, “Thou shall hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man; thou shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from strife of tongues.” [Psalm 31:20] and,

With respect to His guidance, it was Moses the Servant of God who said, “… If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.” [Exodus 33:13-15]

To walk away from the Rule and guidance of the Creator, and with a non-repentant heart is, to be like Cain who went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod/Wandering.

The land of Nod/Wandering is not only found in the earth plain, but also in the spirit plain. And as the Ancient Israel did for forty (40) years, [Numbers 14:33-34] many today have been experiencing their personal wilderness wanderings, and perhaps even longer than that, because they have been deceived in believing a lie that they can get along in life without God in their lives.

I urge you with this mind-set of rejection to repent! And to ask God to deliver you from sin and your current bondage, in Jesus’ name. Get out of the land of Wandering (Nod)! Love God, Respect and Trust Him! Believe from the heart, and obey the infallible Word, that you might be forever in His awesome presence, in Jesus’ name. It is written:

“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.

Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing.

Know ye that the Lord He is God; it is He who hath made us, and not

we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise;

Be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.
For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth

to all generations.” [Psalm 100:1-5]

Prayer

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray that the message in this post would inspire and liberate those, who have gone out of your presence and are dwelling in the spiritual land of Wandering. And do have mercy and save them, heavenly Father, both those among materially wealth, and those among the poor. Convict them of sin, by your Holy Spirit, that they might repent and be saved through the precious blood of Christ, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

It is a Biblical and Historical fact

It is a Biblical and Historical fact that the practice of Sodomy in Sodom a Town/City in ancient Palestine, was the root cause of the destruction of it by divine intervention! It is written:

“And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, [and] burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath” [Deuteronomy 29:23]

It is pathetic, though, not only how this thirteen years old innocent boy’s life was suddenly sniffed away from him, but also the brutal circumstances under which he was made to suffer, and then in an unconscious state, “His abductors dumped his body in the Berbice River, some 200 feet behind the prime suspect’s home,” according to Kaieteur News.

About Sodomy and its overthrow by divine intervention

The practice of Sodomy is not new under the sun. It is, however, an abominable sin and divine curse, which brought down the wrath of the Creator of heaven and earth upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah, and other nearby cities, namely, Admah, and Zeboim, [Deuteronomy 29:23] when He rained upon them brimstone and fire. It is written:

“… The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar. Then the Lord rained brimstone and fire upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven; and He overthrew those Cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.” [Genesis 19:23-25]

A brief background, and dialogue with Lot, the men of Sodom, and the visiting Angels of destruction

Beloved, Sodomy is a devious, depraved, demonic and destructive spirit. And as you read the dialogue below it will help you to see the extreme to which that demon spirit led the obsessed inhabitants of Sodom to their own demise.

Dialogue:
“… And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot, seeing them, rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face to the ground.” [Genesis 19:1] The conversation began as follows:-

Lot: “Behold now, my Lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servants house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways.”

Angels: Nay but we will abide in the street all night.

However, the angels conceded to Lot’s request, and they became his guests. But before they retired to bed, the men of Sodom surrounded Lot’s house, “both old and young, all the people from every quarter. “ [Genesis 19:4]

The Men: “Lot, where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us that we may know them.”

Lot: “I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your sight: only unto these men go nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.”

The men: “Stand back.” “This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now we will deal worse with thee, than with them.” [End]

Please note the anger, the hostility and the violent manifestations of the spirit of Sodomy

Finally, “the men of Sodom pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came to break the door.”

But the Angels in human form pulled Lot back into the house, and after they shut the door: they smote the men who were at Lot’s door with blindness, both small and great. Subsequently, they asked Lot if he had other relations in Sodom besides his family and in-laws, as well as possessions in the City, and told him that he should bring them out of Sodom because they would destroy the place, since the Creator had sent them to do so.

And after Lot had failed to convince his in-laws about the pending destruction upon Sodom and Gomorrah and to get out of the City: the Creator being merciful, the Angels in human form led Lot and his family out of Sodom with instructions that they should not look back. Unfortunately, Mrs. Lot was transformed into a pillar of salt just outside of the City of Sodom when she looked back. And as for Lot and his two daughters, they all escaped towards the City of Zoar, and entered it early in the morning, when the Creator of heaven and earth rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from heaven….” [Genesis 19:1-24]

My thoughts

The Republic of Guyana is a blessed Country, and the majority of Guyanese people are religious, and God-fearing. And even though we are not perfect for all have sinned…, [Romans 3:23] but by His mercies and grace, we should remain resolute against the spirit of Sodomy, and against legalizing same sex marriages, (which is a spirit) this is, from the governmental level to the grass root level, for the glory of God the Creator of heaven and earth.
In Guyanese language, this “BB” cursed culture is against nature itself. And in the eyes of our Creator of heaven and earth, the very name and nature of Sodomy is so devious, depraved, demonic and destructive to man, and therefore it must be overthrown by the Guyanese people, and all Nations who believe. And the good news is that this spirit has been overthrown by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Thus when individuals and Nations defy Nature, and practice Sodomy in our friendly environment, the very elements, for example Fire, Water, Wind and Earth react adversely against mankind, through divine intervention. [Genesis Chapters 6-8, 18 &19]: I call these phenomena, Biblical Geo-climatic Allergic Activation. (BGCAA)

Please note the negative impact of the recent catastrophic Hurricanes and Flood- waters on the social life and the economies of those Nations and States that were hit by them. Sodomy may not be responsible for all of it, but being a part of it should not be ruled out.

And there are Natural Disasters, and man-made ones, too. For example, the latter are caused by: the testing of weapons of mass destruction in the air, land and sea; Deforestation caused by foreign logging companies, and pollution of rivers, the seas and the oceans by dumping nuclear waste in them etc., War and the use of chemical weapons followed by epidemic outbreaks, and a total lack of care for and concern about People, Peace, the Planet and the Environment; due to the selfish and greedy lust of some for earthly gains only, just to mention a few.

And may I emphasize the fact that, for Guyana to continue to move forward for the better, to enjoy a good life for all; and to become a prosperous Green State, the mind-set of Guyanese Political and Spiritual Leaders must be changed…. Our leaders need to think out of the box, and create appropriate programs and policies, and impliment systems that will work for us. And they need to depend heavily on divine guidance and the wisdom from above with the understanding, in order to bring radical and positive changes that will benefit Guyana and our Guyanese people: and Sodomy and Corruption are certainly none of them period.
