Definition

The Latin phrases a priori (lit. “from the earlier”) and a posteriori (lit. “from the latter”) are philosophical terms of art popularized by Immanuel Kant’s Critique of Pure Reason (first published in 1781, second edition in 1787), one of the most influential works in the history of philosophy.[1] However, in their Latin forms they appear in Latin translations of Euclid’s Elements, of about 300 bce, a work widely considered during the early European modern period as the model for precise thinking.

These terms are used with respect to reasoning (epistemology) to distinguish “necessary conclusions from first premises” (i.e., what must come before sense observation) from “conclusions based on sense observation” (which must follow it). Thus, the two kinds of knowledge, justification, or argument, may be glossed:

A priori knowledge or justification is independent of experience, as with mathematics (3 + 2 = 5), tautologies (“All bachelors are unmarried”), and deduction from pure reason (e.g., ontological proofs).[3]

A posteriori knowledge or justification depends on experience or empirical evidence, as with most aspects of science and personal knowledge. There are many points of view on these two types of knowledge, and their relationship gives rise to one of the oldest problems in modern philosophy. The terms a priori and a posteriori are primarily used as adjectives to modify the noun “knowledge” (for example, “a priori knowledge”). However, “a priori” is sometimes used to modify other nouns, such as “truth”. Philosophers also may use “apriority” and “aprioricity” as nouns to refer (approximately) to the quality of being “a priori”.[4][not in citation given]

Idea: A plan or scheme formed in the mind by thinking. (2) Mental impression or concept. (3) An opinion or belief etc. [The Oxford Popular English Dictionary]

The following are Plato’s thoughts under the caption Constructive Philosophy—Idealism of Plato.

Brief introduction:   

It is important to note that Plato was a student of Socrates and he was influenced by his teaching that, “The human being can know the good and that, knowing it, he can do it.” However, what Plato sought to discover was how the human being can know it, and what exactly that he knows, by using the dialogue form….” For example, let us look at the following questions asked below:

Question 1:

“Assuming, then, that man can know the good, with what faculty does he know it, and what is the object of that faculty?

Plato’s answer: “Man is possessed with the knowledge of thinking (Nous), and that this spiritual element can recognize the spiritual element akin to it—the Idea. This Idea, however, is not in the physical world but in the physical world for ever hidden from every faculty in man saved the Nous.”  In addition, Plato concluded that, “Everything we see in front of us is a particular, a single example of something, the Idea or archetype of which is really spiritual, and not to be found on earth. We see for instance, a single plant, but the idea of the plant is in the spiritual world. From this, it is but a short step to the value judgment the earthly example is necessarily an inferior copy of the ideal plant—that the spiritual reality is more beautiful, more worthy of contemplation than anything on earth.”

Question 2:

How can we recognize this earthly copy as indeed a copy of an Idea?
Plato’s answer: “The soul, with its active faculty, the Nous, existed before incarnation on earth in a human body. Before it descended to earth it glimpsed these Ideas, which were implanted for ever in the soul. Thus knowledge of the universal behind the particular appearance on earth is simply recognition. This, it will be seen, completely accounts for man’s possession of innate knowledge, which Socrates had shown man did possess.”

Our Aim

Aim: To follow closely Plato’s thoughts and either agree with those that are in line with our Inward Jew Nation of God beliefs, if any, or disagree with those that are not, and to make justifiable comments on each. To ask relevant questions and state our own conclusions based on truth.

Before we talk about man it is wise that we seek to discover the perfect Idea of man in the spiritual world. Below is a priori knowledge and of truth about who is man’s originator, and about man revealed to us in the infallible Word:

And God (Yahweh, Elohim) said, “Let us make man in our own image, after our own likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over everything that creepeth over the earth. So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him, male and female created He them….” [Genesis 1:26-27]

And we who from the heart believe the revealed Infallible Word know with confidence that Yahweh the Almighty, the Highest, is the origin of the perfect Idea of man in the spiritual world, and the particular appearance of imperfect man on planet earth. As it is written:

“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostril the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” [Genesis 2: 7]

About Degenerated man knowing and doing the good.

With regards to degenerated man, one tends neither to see nor agree with Plato’s perspective on the assumption:

“That the human being can know the good; and that, knowing it, he can do it.”

And the reason for rejecting Plato’s notion is because man’s faculties are all corrupt due to his fallen nature which he inherited. Therefore knowing the good is one thing, and in spite of the fact that one has a will of his own, he may not in practice do that which he knows is “the good.” A typical example is that of Paul the Apostle, who testified to that type of human behavior and said, “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me, but how to perform that which is good I find not.” [Romans 7:18] As a result he cried out in desperation for deliverance when he said, “O wretched man that I am, who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.” [Romans 7:24-25]

Conclusion: Man knowing “the good,” cannot do it, unless he is delivered by the grace and power of God.

And this is our stance as an Inward Jew Nation of God with roots in Guyana, South America.

Agreement on the Ideal good in the spiritual world, but its recognition is through the inner man or spirit-man

The Ideal good is in the spiritual world, and one may agree with Plato that it is. But it is through the spirit man which Yahweh implanted in physical man that we can recognize “the spiritual element akin to it, — the Idea,” when the Spirit of God reveals it unto us.

Consider, Yahweh our Creator is a Spirit. [John 4:23] Now, follow my logical projection: In creating man Yahweh created the inward or spirit man [Romans 8:22] in His own image, [Genesis 1: 26] and the physical or outward man from the dust of the ground after His own likeness. [Genesis2:7] As a result, the outward or physical man is the bearer of the inner or spirit man. Thus no other man or individual can know the things of another man or individual, “save the spirit of man which is in him.” [1 Corinthians 2:11]

Now, by comparing spiritual things with spiritual, it is spirit man in man (physical man) that can recognize the spiritual element akin to it, — the Idea, in the spiritual world, as Yahweh reveals it unto us by His Spirit, for it (the Spirit of God) searches all things, even the deep things of God. [1 Corinthians 2:10] As it is written:

“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God: that we might know the things which are freely given to us of God.”[1 Corinthians 2:12-13] My proof is as follows:

A priori knowledge of the perfect Idea in the spiritual world was shown to Moses when “he was about to make the Tabernacle: for, See said He, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.” [Exodus 25:40; Acts 7:44; Hebrews 8:5;]

Again,

A priori knowledge of the Idea in the spiritual world was shown to John, who was exiled on the Island of Patmos for “the Word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.” [Revelation 1:9-10] And through that revelation he received in his spirit-man or inner-man, he recognized that earthly copy, that is, the seven churches that were in Asia, was a copy of the Idea, in the spiritual world, which he wrote down as follows..

A priori knowledge of the perfect Idea

“I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, what thou seest write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in the Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unti Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.” [Revelation 1:11]

Conclusion

Finally, through man’s inherited faculty of reasoning by divine making, degenerated individuals, including the moral and political philosopher may step up to the challenge of His Creator and heed to His gracious call to reason with Him according to the revealed Word in Isaiah 1:12-19 says:

“Come now, let us reason together, said the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool.” The concluded judgment

“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: but if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured by the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.” [Isaiah 1:18-19]

“To what purpose is the multitude of sacrifices unto me? Said the Lord: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of goats. When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts? Bring no more vain obligations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and Sabbaths, the calling of assembles, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. Your new moon and your appointed feast my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me I am weary to bear them. And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. Wash you, make you clean, put away the evil doings from before my eyes; cease to do evil; learn to do well, seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plea for the widow. [Isaiah 1:11-17]

My Conclusion and Undeniable Truths

Many a man has been deceived by the influence of past civilizations upon his/her life due to lack, and especially the lack of knowledge of the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and of Christ His Son, for the most part.  As a result, he has rejected the one true and living God, and Christ whom He has sent to liberate him from sin, bondage and possible death.

Some were made to think through philosophy and vain deceit, that man by his own faculties, which are corrupt because of his inherited fallen nature, can liberate and redeem himself, or do the ideal good, with things that can be destroyed, such as, silver and gold, a vain and worldly lifestyle handed down and received by tradition from our fathers. [1 Peter 1:18-19, Colossians 2:8] But this is a lie from the pit of hell and beyond; for man without the unmerited favor, and power of the Spirit of Yahweh, through Christ His Son whom He has sent, “do the ideal good,” if he can know it.  As it is written:

“But the natural man receiveth the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolish unto Him, neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” [1 Corinthians 2:14]

Your Moment

I urge you to repent, and to return to Yahweh the only one true and living God today. Follow the prompting of the Holy Spirit. Come back to him just how you are, just where you are, and just as determined as you are. Now, surrender your whole life to Christ His Son. Ask Christ to forgive you of your sins and invite Him into your heart and life to stay for ever.

Rejoice, and why not, you cannot afford to miss this golden opportunity!!! For this is the day, and your moment of inward change, (transformation) in His awesome presence. !!! Come home to Christ Jesus with all of your heart today, will you? Jesus loves you, my Friend. Take some time off and talk to God in Prayer now the way you know it.

The Inward Jew Nation of God Message:

Our plan

It cannot be denied that great thinkers like Socrates, Plato and Aristotle did not set the world on a new path of thinking, and that the influence of which continued since their day to a great extent.

Our plan, however, is that we examine the work of Socrates on his “Reconstruction of religious thought —Search for ethical standards,” to see at what point his way of thinking concerning how “the good” can be pursued by man alone, did not confirm to the knowledge of Yahweh our Creator, and bring every Socratican thought, others, to the obedience of Christ, and pursue the divine genuine good.

Our aim is to:

Establish the truth of Yahweh’s pure infallible Word into the hearts and minds of individuals and all nations, who would receive it, with the hope to liberate all who are in bondage; and bring them on the side of Yahweh our heavenly Father through Christ His Son. And by an inward transformation and through a mind renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit; reconstruct by His grace a new Path of Thinking with continuity in accordance with Yahweh’s will, purpose, for man.

The ancient Greeks’ idea/traditional thought

With that said, let’s consider the central thought of early Greek civilization which was “that man lives in a framework of destiny,” they called Moira, since parts of its influence is the root cause of how some have been thinking to this day, hence the dilemma we, as a people, find ourselves in today.

The Greeks’ idea was, “that man lives in a framework of destiny,” called Moira. For the Greeks, “human suffering was the work of Moira or the gods, and man has but a limited freedom. It is right for the people to be instructed in these things, to admire and to revere the nobility of man in the face of his suffering, and to accept the decrees of the gods and learn humility and fortitude.”

The above mentioned idea covered the work of Homer and was implied in the Odyssey and clearly expressed in the Iliad. In the poem “Homer,” it is clearly understood that “man’s deeds on earth, however pleasing they may be to the gods, will not avail to save him from his destined destruction.” The following is an example of the Greek idea as demonstrated in the poem.

In as much as “Hector has always fulfilled his religious obligations towards Zeus and the other gods; his moral character has been impeccable; yet he must fall a victim to the spear of Achilles, who is on all counts his moral inferior.”

Zeus, who is ruled by the super power of Moira weighs the lot of the two heroes, Hector and Achilles in the balance, and the test showed that Hector should die in the dual match between himself and Achilles. As a result Zeus’s divine help has to be withdrawn from Hector, who is conscious that he is no match in a combat with Achilles and that he will die. And not even his dearly beloved wife could persuade him to escape the dual, for in his mindset, “It is his duty as a man to engage in the conflict, a duty toward himself, known to the Greeks as “arête.”

Thus, in the view of the poem Homer, man cannot escape his fate. “There is a realm of necessity which is the framework within which his deeds must be performed, and his only task within this framework is to bear himself nobly and with dignity as benefits a true man.”

Beloved, the above mentioned thought was the central “core of early Greek tragedy.” We are to bear in mind that “the tragedian’s task was not to entertain, but to teach the people.”

It is noteworthy that the tragedy was performed at Dionysiac festival; it was part of the Greek Religion. And Aristotle defined its purpose as explained, that it must be “of some magnitude” (concerning matters of moment) must present, “an imitation of life” and must  by inspiring awe, lead to a “catharsis” (release) of these and other emotions.”

Other demonstrations of “Arete”

In Aeschylus’ play “Prometheus Bound,” Prometheus obeyed the gods to seek a higher task for mankind. As a result, he was punished even though it was within the final needs of destiny that should be the recipient of the promethean gift. And the entire household of Agamemnon has been sought by cruel destiny that was not his original making.

In the play the Oedipus at Colonus, Oedipus trilogy of Sophocles it is, “Expressly shown that Oedipus has been designed to kill his father and marry his mother,” and all human efforts failed to stop the tragedy.

It is noteworthy that while Sophocles suggested that the sufferings of Oedipus was a worthwhile solution because “the land in which he is buried is to be blessed”: in the thoughts of dramatists as in that like Homer no explanation is given as to “why men suffer that can be universal applicable.”

Socrates reconstruction of the Sophists’ traditional thinking

And Socrates, who himself being a Sophist, in his attempt to reconstruct the above mentioned traditional thinking, showed that the Sophists had “neglected an important part of human experience—“the inner self.” And not only did he accept the main Sophistic criticism that man had always relied upon traditional thought rather than the best thought of which he is capable but also, set out to discover “what it is that man does know and how he comes to know it.” And here Socrates is “one with the Sophists in so far as he stresses the ignorance of those who profess to know, and the unproved nature of all traditional thinking.”

But, Socrates, the constructive thinker that he was, took the main Sophistic criticism to the next level when he said, “We must not indeed take received opinion on trust, but man can know through self-examination. In order to discover this truth, which every man knows inwardly, it is necessary to bring knowledge to birth.”

Interestingly, the methodology Socrates used to achieve his goal was labelled the “Socratic Method, or the Dialectic” — one of “question and answer, by which it is gradually discovered first what is not true; and thereafter the truth is built up stage by stage, allowing no definition to stand until it has been examined, and no questionable statement to pass with criticism.”

Results:

“When the process has finished, the questioner, will find that he really knows something, however little, that he was not aware of knowing before.

Interestingly, “the Socrates Method” was useful in the dialogues of Plato who was one of his students to enquire into the nature of the good and how it could be pursued by man.

The Big Question:

“Can virtue (arête) or moral excellence be taught? If the code of right behavior is not to be dictated by tradition, received opinion, and the supposed will of the gods, then it must emanate from man.”

The predictable end result:

An individual ethic based on man’s best knowledge must replace the traditional one.

Socrates’ belief; Application and Solution  

A Typical Greek Notion 

It is Socrates’ belief that “if we rid ourselves of all prejudice and previous thinking on the subject, then by constant criticism followed by constructive thought we can obtain an idea of the good which will be the same for all; because the human being is so constituted that he can know the good. And knowing it, he can follow it, for no one who truly knows the good would deliberately chose to follow the evil.

Socrates questioned the Sophists’ aim of teaching 

With regard to the Sophists, Socrates showed that their aim of teaching “useful Knowledge” was inadequate. In addition’ he asked the question, “useful for what?” and with ease showed that the only human aim is truly the pursuit of the good, to which all else is subordinate.

I question Socrates’ concept

Beloved, the pursuit of the good is an important truth in terms of the human aim. And Socrates’ concept that the Sophists had neglected an important part of human experience, that is, the inner self, is not a problem with me.

But, I question Socrates’ concept of how “the good,” can to be pursued by mere man’s efforts when in his flesh “dwelleth no good thing;” [Romans 7:18] that is, in his corrupt lower “inner self,” and the notion that man once knowing the good, he can follow it,” (truthfully) and not choose to deliberately follow evil.

Beloved, in truth and in fact, I do not agree with Socrates’ notion, because according to the wisdom that is far above the wisdom of the earth realm in which Socrates operated, there in the upper “inner self” in man, is the Holy Spirit through whom man may be strengthened with might: and by whom man, by His grace through faith, can know the genuine good; yea, even be taken to a higher level of consciousness beyond knowledge, which is “the love of Christ.” [Read Ephesians 3:16] And by personally experiencing this genuine good (the love of Christ), and being rooted and grounded in it, individually and collectively, we can pursue it, and not choose to follow evil.

Praise God for the “Love of Christ,”— the path of the new World Order! Freedom for me and for “al a we”!!! Amen.

There is none other God but one. For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)

But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by Him. [1 Corinthians 8:4-5]

“For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:11-12)

 Definition: The Sophists (Ancient Greek)

The Sophists were itinerant professional teachers and intellectuals who frequented Athens and other Greek cities in the second half of the fifth century B.C.E. In return for a fee, the sophists offered young wealthy Greek men an education in aretē (virtue or excellence), thereby attaining wealth and fame while also arousing significant antipathy. Prior to the fifth century B.C.E., aretē was predominately associated with aristocratic warrior virtues such as courage and physical strength. In democratic Athens of the latter fifth century B.C.E., however, aretē was increasingly understood in terms of the ability to influence one’s fellow citizens in political gatherings through rhetorical persuasion; the sophistic education both grew out of and exploited this shift. Breaking the influence of the Sophists’ pronouncement

Today, I by faith in YESHUA’s/ JESUS’ name, and by the power of God’s anointing, officially break the influence of the Sophists’ pronouncement on the minds of multitudes who were made to think that, “The relation between the Earthly man and the Spiritual man— and the relation between man and the gods is unanswerable.

The answer to the Greeks’ big question

And, we, the Inward Jew Nation of God, with deep roots in Guyana, South America, say according to the infallible Word that it is answerable. Further, through the “wisdom that is from above,” our answer to great question, “What is the relation between man and the Gods?”

Answer: There is no real relation between man and the gods.

However, some were made to think that their man-made gods were alive, but the truth is that their gods are deaf, dumb and dead. It is really the gullible mindset of some that makes them believe and practice what they believe. As a result, they invite and entertain false spirits, and they end up worshiping both the object or idol/s and the ungodly spirits that guides them in such practices.

Beloved, through “wisdom that is from above,

” We know that “an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one. For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)

But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by Him. [1 Corinthians 8:4-5]

“What is the relation between the Earthly man and the Spiritual man?

The relation between the “Earthly man and the Spiritual man” is one of conflict.

Why?

 For example, the Earthly wars against the Spiritual man and vice versa, and according to the Word. As a result, all Believers are instructed to walk in the Spirit, so as to avoid fulfilling the wrong desires of the Earthly man, that is, the lust of the flesh. As it is written,

“Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other so that you cannot do the things that you would.” [Galatians 5:16-17]

Protagarus’ Dictum, a manifestation of work of the flesh

Beloved, a manifestation of work of the flesh is stated in Protagarus’ Dictum by one of the earliest Sophists, and it says:

“Man is the measure of all things, of things that are, that they are; of things that are not, that they are not.”

Beloved, the above mentioned Protagarus’ Pronouncement was one with neither love, light nor life in it, and here was where they sinned, that is, simply erred, or missed the mark from the divine measurement (Salvation) for the common good of all. And by that central thought of the Sophists, which represented the “wisdom descended not from above” [James 3:15] it was “assumed that the basis of all things were material.”

Thus, the Sophists having criticized their traditional beliefs, came up with their new central thought,

“Man is the measure of all things, of things that are, that they are; of things that are not, that they are not.” As a result, for the Greeks everything thereafter must be looked at “from the point of view of man.”

“The gods may exist but they do not reveal themselves to us; therefore they may be disregarded. Laws were made by men and for men; the gods do not sanction laws, and do not punish those who offend against them. The individual is more important than the community, he has only one life, let him make the most of it and not lose it stupidly.” There is no real difference between a slave and the free, it is just an unfortunate but temporary condition due to historical circumstances.”

Interestingly, “Plato himself, in the Laws, has an Athenian stranger remark that the troubles of Athens all stem from their acquired belief that man, not God, is the measure of all things.”

The absurdity of the Athenians

And, of course, it was absurd of the Athenians to think that man is the measure of all things, and I say so because man is imperfect due to his fallen nature. And, yet, by the ambitious Athenian’s walk by sight “led to modern science and a transformed material world,” but not without Yahweh’s permissive will.

But, by rejecting the Supreme Being, who created all mankind, and by leaning on their own understanding, their deeds were indeed disrespectful, devilishness, disdainful and destructive in Yahweh’s sight; and, therefore they were cruel to themselves and to their fellowmen: that being so, was it not because “that the wisdom of the Athenians descended not from above?”

Moreover, to learn that during the days of the Athenian Empire and the Peloponnesian War, the sayings of Thrasymachus one of the Sophists that, “justice is the interest of the stronger,” or that might makes right” became the order of the day, is somewhat disturbing. And, even, much more disturbing, that the sayings of the said Sophist is still believed and demonstrated by some in our global societies today, both in the most subtle and in blatant ways too; and our local and international news points out some of these injustices.

God our heavenly Father, and Christ His Son are the measure of all things

Finally, my beloved, we know the truth according to “the wisdom that is from above” that God the heavenly Father, by Christ His Son, is the measure of all things.

And, we know also that Christ, is the image of the invisible God, the first born of every creature: for by Him were all things created (the use of divine measurement is implied here,) that are in the heaven and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him and for Him: and He is before all things, and by him all things consist….” [Colossians 1:15-17]

Let us give Yahweh our heavenly Father, thanks and praise in Jesus’ name.  Hallelujaaaaaah!!! Let us keep the faith.

My Prayer

Yahweh, our heavenly Father by faith I call into being thinkers filled with the Holy Spirit and with general wisdom from above, and knowledgeable in the infallible Word, to teach men your ways and to provide positive answers to many unanswered questions pertaining to the truth and nothing but the truth, that the minds of multitudes, who believe would be liberated and lives turned around through an inward transformation in order to benefit from the common good you have in store for all, according to your will and purpose, in Jesus’ name.

The Inward Jew Nation of God Message:

There is a divine sanction over man’s actions

Beloved, as the saints who have gone before us, we, the Inward Jew Nation of God with deep roots in Guyana, South America, believe the “wisdom that is from above” according to the Word, and  11 Corinthians 5:10 which says:

 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” [11 Corinthians 5:10]

Thus, according to the infallible Word there is a divine sanction over man’s actions.

But, in opposition to the Infallible Word, by following his earthly wisdom the natural man Aristotle believed:

“That man cannot be happy unless he is good and that, since man must seek for happiness, no divine sanction is necessary.” [The Western Heritage, 1961, Holt, Rinehart and Winston, Inc. pg.50] “Yo hear lie?” Lord have mercy!!!

Beloved, man born of a woman is a natural man, who bears the image as his paternal parent Adam, [1 Corinthians 15: 49] who God created a living soul. As it is written in the scriptures, “And Yahweh formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostril the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” [Genesis 2:7] One fact that cannot be denied though is, that, in as much as man is the highest in the animal kingdom, the behavioral traits of some throughout the ages were, and still are those of the lower animals to this date, even worse.

The natural man and “wisdom descended not from above”

Beloved, the natural man is driven by his desires of the flesh, [Galatians 5:17-24] which have no limits, you see. For example, some manifestations of the flesh are, say, greedy lust; killing a fellow man; or stealing a fowl, or a goat, or a sheep and making a bad mango curry with its meat; or going to court and lie for a friend, or for someone for a raise (money) because he/she wants to win the case. Also like coveting anything other thing that belongs to someone else, say: money, somebody’s wife, or property: practicing witchcraft; hatred; jealousies; wrath; making strife; drunkenness; gossiping, and the exploitation of man by man, just to mention a few. These human traits and more fall in the classification ” Wisdom descended not from above.”

“Wisdom is defined as experience and knowledge together with the power of applying them. Wisdom is also making use of one’s common sense. [Oxford Popular English Dictionary]

Consider, “Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? The scripture says, let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness and wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.” [James 3: 13-14]

The following is a scriptural description of the “wisdom descended not from above” (earthly)

Bitter envying and strife in your hearts …, “This wisdom descendeth not from above,” but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. [James 3: 16]

And in contrast to wisdom descended not from above, “… The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to entreat, full of mercy, and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. [James 3: 17]

May God bless us with eyes of discernment to identify the main root cause/s of confusion, namely, envying and strife, in every given situation, and to apply wisdom that is from above to stop it: and, thus,  bring clarity and peace. “And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.” [James 3:13-18]

The Spirit of envy and strife at work at its best

Beloved, Jesus the Christ made it abundantly clear to the Pharisees the vast distinction between “wisdom descended not from above”: and the “wisdom that was from above;” and went on to apply His kingdom principles which healed the man with the withered hand in spite of the Pharisees’ earthly man-made rules and regulations concerning the keeping of the Sabbath. The following was Jesus’s approach which successfully stopped the confusion the strife-making Pharisees were trying to create.

The Pharisees accused Jesus’ disciples of breaking the law on a Sabbath day when they plucked corn and ate them because they were hungry. And they (the Pharisees) approached Jesus and said to Him, “Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful on the Sabbath day.” [Matthew 12:2]

How Jesus defended His disciples’ Action

And, in His defense, Jesus questioned their knowledge of the scriptures to show justifiable reasons for His disciples’ actions when He enquire of them:

• If they did not read about David how he entered the House of God on the Sabbath day with his men and ate the showbread which only the priests were permitted to eat, and
• If they did not read in the law how that on the Sabbath days the priest in the temple profane the Sabbath, and were blameless.

Subsequently, Jesus made it clear to the hypocritical Pharisees, that He was greater than the Temple by contrast. And that was followed by a further contrast, namely, “the wisdom that is from above” and “the wisdom descended not from above” (earthly). You see, the term “mercy” is a quality of Yahweh the Most High, and it means compassion. So “mercy” is a word that was/is foreign to the Earthlings (the natural man) since it is not within his/her psychic. But, the condition for receiving mercy, however,  is first to show mercy to our fellow men, even to animals. As it is written,

“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.” [Matthew 5:7]

Instead of animal sacrifice: Extended Mercy was prioritized by Christ

But, animal sacrifice, however, was a normal everyday practice of the Pharisees and others. So while the Pharisees prioritized animal sacrifice, on one hand: they were withered up, or dried up in their practice of showing mercy towards men, on the other hand.

Beloved, and Jesus the Christ the last Adam, who is the Lord from heaven above, [1 Corinthians 15: 47] lived a practical lifestyle according to the principles of His Father’s Kingdom which is from above, or heavenly.  And “Mercy” was demonstrated as part of His everyday lifestyle, that the so called learned religious leaders and hypocrites of his day neither understood completely, nor accepted that “Mercy,” in preference of Sacrifice, was Jesus’ choice to heal the man with the withered hand on the Sabbath day. [Matthew 12: 9-13]

My Thoughts/ Inward Jew Thinking

The Pharisees and other religious leaders who walked after the flesh were ignorant of the fact that Jesus the Christ, who came from above, was in the realm of the highest spiritual consciousness. As a result, they felt that He had a problem with doctrine, because His messages were new and strange to them. Hence the rejection, and they set out in their hearts to make strife wherever, whenever and however possible, even to kill Jesus the Christ the Son of the Living God. [John 10:24-40]

And in the case of the man with the withered hand, Jesus evaluated the arrogance and the ignorance of the Pharisees, and said to them that He was One in their presence, who was greater than the physical sophisticated Temple. And in pitying their ignorance Jesus the Christ said to the Pharisees, “But if you had known what this meant, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. For the Son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath.” [Matthew 12:7-8]

Blessings for being Merciful

Beloved, being merciful to our fellow men is a big blessing all by itself, and great benefits are in store for those who are kind to others. For example:

• He that considereth the poor is blessed
• The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble
• The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive
• He shall be blessed upon the earth
• The Lord will not deliver him unto the will of his enemies
• The lord will strengthen him upon the bed of sickness
• The Lord will restore him from his sickness
• He/she will call upon the Lord to be merciful and to heal their soul, and
• He/she will acknowledge their sin against Him. [Psalm 41:1-4]

 

“Wisdom descended not from above” at work in the form of abuse

In his conversation with Yahweh the psalmist identified each abuse, for example, he said:

“Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall ye die, and his name perish?” “And if he comes to see me, he speaketh vanity”: “his heart gathereth iniquity to itself, when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.” “All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.” “An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him; and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.”

“Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat from my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.” [Remember Brutus in Julius Caesar?]

The psalmist expressed His reassurance:

But this I know that thou favorest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.” [Psalm 41:5-11]

“And as for me, thou upholdest me in thy integrity, and sittest me before thy face for ever. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.” [Psalm 41:12-13]  As the Psalmist let testify of Yahweh’s goodness towards us.

It is noteworthy that the Psalmist had a conversation with Yahweh. And in His awesome presence he poured out his heart to Yahweh and emptied himself of all the abuses and hurts that he was suffering at the hands of his familiar friend and enemies. And some common abuses that he mentioned in Psalm 41 are:

Man’s evil and unruly tongue lashing in “wisdom descended not from above”, which is first devilish…

“Enemies speak evil of me;” “When shall he die, and his name perish;” “He speaketh vanity;” “His heart gathereth iniquity to itself;” “All that hate me whisper together against me;” “They devise my hurt;” They falsely diagnosed his sickness, and predicted that he shall rise up no more [Psalm 41: 8]

This is your Moment of Moments that would challenge you heart and your life

Beloved, as the psalmist, are you familiar with the above mentioned abuses and hurts? It could be that every one of us have been experiencing some of these abuses and even worse than these, God knows. Whatever your abuses are, in spite of how badly you are hurt, do not sit there and cry, and/or grieve. Take action now, and for your own good, go before God, your heavenly Father, and have a conversation with Him. And as the Psalmist, tell Him exactly what you are going through unto this moment.

After you have finished, confess your sins to Yahweh your Creator, and lay all your burdens at the feet of Christ Jesus the Son of the living God. Tell Yahweh that you are sorry for all the wrongs you have done to your fellow men, and to yourself, if that is what you want to do. Next, repent of your sins and invite Christ into your life, by faith.

Beloved, if you have from the heart repented and invited Christ into your life: know that you have found favor with Yahweh the Highest, through Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. Further, know that you are covered with and delivered by the precious blood of Christ: and by the power of the Holy Spirit you have defeated the enemy today, by faith in in Jesus’ name.

And if you know that Yahweh has favored you, because your enemy did not triumph over you today, give Yahweh the highest praise, even as I rejoice with you. Hallilujaaaaaaah!!!

May Yahweh richly bless you in your new walk and new outlook to life in 2018, and beyond. Shalom.

This is the Inward Jew Nation of God Message:

Christ the Light that overtakes the Darkness

Beloved, I submit to you that Nations, Kings and Kingdoms, Governments and all peoples outside the Circle and kingdom of God (Yahweh) and of Christ Jesus His dear Son; live or sit and function knowingly or unknowingly in the either of the two realms below:

• The realm of “Darkness,” or
• The realm of the “shadow of death”

There are multitudes in the societies of the world, even to this date, who have been trapped/stuck in either of the two realms of darkness as stated above. As a result, they reflect the societies in the land of Zebulum, and the land of Naphtali of which Isaiah the Prophet said,

“The Land of Zebulun, and the land of Naphtali,

 by the way of the sea beyond Jordon, Galilee of the gentiles;

the people which sat in darkness saw great light;

and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death

light is sprung up.” [Matthew 4:14-16; Isaiah 9:1-2]

Nevertheless I have good news for you on this New Year’s Day, January 01, 2087. And it (the good news) is that there is still hope for Nations and peoples in darkness! And this hope is in the resurrection of Jesus the Christ the Son of Yahweh, who is the Highest. As it is written what Jesus said to Martha:

“I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believeth thou this?” [John 11:25]

And the right way forward into the New Year 2018 is to Repent; and return to God the Father, as you read this Message, and from the heart receive the infallible Word, and glorious Gospel light that is shining upon you and in your path now, in the name of JESUS/YESHUA!!!

Happily, Yahweh, made man in His own image, after His own likeness. And “DARKNESS” is not the nature of Yahweh, according to the message handed to us by our predecessors, those Saints of the first century, who were eyewitnesses and ministers of the Word, who said:

 “And this is the message we have heard and now declare unto you: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: but if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that WE HAVE NOT SINNED, we make Him a liar, and His WORD is not in us. [1John 1:5-10]

There is hope for all peoples and Nations under the sun who live, or sit, or walk either in the valley of darkness, or in the shadows of death, through Christ the last Adam, whose “blood cleanseth us from all sin.” [1 John 1:7]

There is hope for all

There is hope for all who desire to reflect the image of Yahweh the Highest, which they bear. [Genesis 1: 26] And this is made possible through the last Adam Jesus the Christ, “who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by himself purged out sins sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.” [Hebrews 1:3]

Beloved, unlike the first Adam through whom sin came into the world, and the manifestation of which is reflected in the ills of our modern day societies of all walks of life around the world: the last Adam, who is Jesus the Christ is a quickening or a life giving Spirit. And every man who repents and returns to Yahweh his Creator and God, surrenders his all to Christ the Son of the Highest, and receives Him into his/her heart by faith, is guaranteed salvation through His precious blood that was shed to save him/her. As it is written

“Wherefore as one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned…. Nevertheless death reigned from the first Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude (in the identical way) of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of Him who was to come. But not as the offence, so is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

And not as it was by one man that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one man to condemnation, the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one Jesus Christ. Therefore, as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous…. That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord…. ” [Romans 5:12 & 14-19 & 21]

Finally, Yahweh, in Jesus’ name, this first day of January 1, 2018, I speak the Word into the spirit of: Individuals, Nations, Kings and Kingdoms, Governments and all peoples outside the Circle and kingdom of God (Yahweh) and of Christ Jesus your dear Son; and are walking in DARKNESS, and I say to them,

Repent; and return to God the heavenly Father, through Christ Jesus, who alone is able to save, and to liberate you from the realms of DARKNESS, and of the shadow of DEATH!!!! Believe, and receive the Word, that the glorious Gospel light may continue to shine in your path throughout year 2018, and beyoond, in Jesus’ name. Shalom.
