Message

A Word for Texas: “The righteous cry, and Yahweh the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their trouble.[Psalm 34:17]

Flood waters and hurricanes etc. are not new under the sun. According to history it is not the first time Texas has experienced floods and hurricanes, but Hurricane Harvey of 2017 is extraordinary, they say. Today it is Texas: tomorrow it will be somewhere else. And while Hurricane Harvey is a reality in Texas: it is a reminder to the whole world that Yahweh the Creator of heaven and earth is still in charge, and that He still rules in the Earth, and in the affairs of men. Also, that instead of man’s words: His Word is forever settled in heaven, and that it is final.

I write to comfort you and to give direction from the infallible Word of God, which is their standard Rule for all mankind, who will obey.

According to the infallible Word, we are in the last days. And referring to the last days, Jesus the Christ declared,

“But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark. And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. [Matthew 24:37 -39]

It is noteworthy that the immoral social daily life of the society in Noah’s day was directly linked to the catastrophic floods waters which destroyed all mankind in that society, “but eight souls including Noah, “who found grace in the eyes of Yahweh, the Lord.”[Genesis 6:8] And, of course, the clean and the unclean animals that were in the ark.

I would not be surprised if one wants to ask me to relate Noah’s day to our Society today. As a matter of fact I would love to give a ready answer to this pertinent question.

The answer

I do not believe that our societies today have reached that magnitude of wickedness as that of Noah’s day, but there are lots of evidence that many have moved away from the love of Yahweh. As a result, immorality has increased. And some types of immorality that were associated in Noah’s day as well, and that were confirmed by Jesus the Christ. For example, Jesus said,

“For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark.”

Beloved, in all our societies all over the world today there is much eating and drinking…, and most men and women are carrying on according to the way they perceive life, and with little or no direction from the infallible Word of God. But since the spotlight is on Texas, here is interesting information published by the media concerning events that took place there before the current flood, and which may be linked to either part or the whole of the catastrophic damages done by Hurricane Harvey, August 27: and which may be linked to Biblical Geo-Climatic Allergic Activation (BGCAA). The event was the US Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage.

Below is an excerpt of the ruling….

“The US Supreme Court has ruled that same-sex marriage is a legal right across the United States.

It means the 14 states with bans on same-sex marriage will no longer be able to enforce them.

Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote that the plaintiffs asked “for equal dignity in the eyes of the law. The Constitution grants them that right.”

The ruling brings to an end more than a decade of bitter legal battles.

Same-sex couples in several affected states including Georgia, Michigan, Ohio and Texas rushed to wed on Friday.

However officials in other states, including Mississippi and Louisiana, said marriages had to wait until procedural issues were addressed.

President Barack Obama said the ruling was a “victory for America”.

“When all Americans are treated as equal, we are all more free,” he said.

(a) “… I am the Lord. Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Neither shalt thou lie with any therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. Defile not ye yourself in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you, and the land land is defilied: therefore I do visit the iniquity upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants. Leviticus 18:22-25]

(b) “Wherefore Yahweh also gave them up to a UNCLEANNESS through lust of their own heart, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and serve the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever.” [Romans 1:24]

Question: Now having read the two reports, this is, Report 1, and Report 2 for yourself which would you believe? Do you believe that mankind’s wicked living defiles the land, and God our Creator do visit the iniquity upon it, and the land itself vomits out its inhabitants whether temporary, or permanently?

This post is not condemning us, but it serves to point us to the truth according to the infallible Word, and I pray that someone will see the light through the Word and embrace it, as David, who said, “The Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a lamp unto my path.” [psalm 119:105]

My Scripture Text:

“Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the Remission of Sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” : For the promise is unto you, and unto your children, and to all that are afar off, even as the Lord God shall call.”[Acts 2:38-39]

Message:

In this twenty first century today we still need to believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in order to be saved and establish a right relationship with Almighty God through Christ His Son our Lord and Savior. It is important to study, retain and obey from the heart the valued teachings of the Apostles and Saints in Christ of the first century Church, for they form an integral part of the very foundation of our faith. It is written,

Believers are, “Built upon the foundation of the Apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone; in whom all the building fitly framed together growth unto a holy temple in the Lord: in whom ye also are builded together for a habitation of God through the Spirit.” [Ephesians 2:20-22]

Beloved, a biblical example of faith that saves is that of the 3000 souls on the day of Pentecost “in the time of Reformation AD 33. [Hebrews 9: 10-15] It all began when Peter the Apostle among others, whom the crucified, risen ascended Christ Jesus “through the Holy Ghost had given commandments…” stood up confidently and preached the pure Gospel of Jesus Christ to multitudes of Jews, who had returned to Jerusalem to observe the feast. And when he declared to them, “Let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter, men and brethren what shall we do? ” Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptised every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remession of your sins ….” [Acts 2:36 -38] It was faith in Christ that saved the three thousand souls.

Let us reason together

Beloved, have you ever heard the sound of a sledge-hammer on ice, or stone? Well, I guess you have. However, if you are not sure, then you may take a heavy hammer and hit a mass of hard ice or stone with it several times, and experience the sound of broken ice or stone as it falls apart. (Take on this assignment with a smile, if you will. God bless you.)
The Word of God is like a sledge hammer pounding upon the stony hearts of men and progressively breaking, shaping and transforming them from the inside into pure hearts of flesh; which when pricked by its truth, causes men to breakdown, repent and ask Yahweh for forgiveness, and desire to be saved through Christ His Son. And in the process the Holy Spirit then convicts them, and liberates their mind to follow Christ, by faith. And such was the experience of the three thousand souls who “were pricked in their heart” [Acts 2:37] when they heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and said to Peter and the rest of the Apostles, “Men and Brethren, what shall we do?” He told them to repent and be baptised “in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of Sins. [Acts 2:38]

One can just imagine the impact of Peter’s message. It was so astounding in that three thousand souls, who gladly received the Word were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and added to the church. [Acts 2:41]

Beloved, true repentance; and God’s forgiveness through faith in Christ is what save sinners from His imminent wrath!!! And those who sincerely believe on Jesus Christ do not hesitate to be baptized “in the name of Jesus Christ!!!”

Again,

In AD 33 the Spirit led Peter, who under the command of the ascended Christ, [Acts 1:2] had established the continuing kingdom culture of Baptism “in the name of Jesus Christ.” [Acts 2:38] It was some twenty years after i.e., AD 53, when Paul the Apostle and Silas preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Philippi, the chief City in that part of Macedonia. At Philippi they had lots of experiences: for example, Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God, heard the Gospel preached by the visiting missionaries, and she and her household were baptized. Subsequently, Paul and Silas went to pray, and at that meeting Paul commanded a spirit of divination which had possessed a woman to come out of her, in the name of Jesus Christ. But after she was delivered the multitude rose up together against them, the magistrates tore their clothes , commanded to beat them, and after inflicting many stripes on them, they imprisoned them within the inner prison with “their feet fast in stocks,” and charged the jailer to keep them safely.”[Acts 16:23-24]

But at midnight, Paul and Silas prayed, and sang songs unto God: and the prisoners were their audience. And a great earthquake shook the foundation of the prison and with immediate effect “all the doors were opened, and everyone’s hands were loosed.”Acts 16:25-26] Let us give Yahweh praise. Hallelujaaaaaaah!

Beloved, as for the keeper of the prison, he, “awaking out of his sleep, seeing the prison doors opened, and assuming that the prisoners had been fled, drew out his sword and would have killed himself: but Paul exclaimed, “Do thyself no harm: for we are all here! [Acts 16:28]

The terrified and helpless Jailer had come to the end of himself. He had seen our miracle-working- God at work, for Almighty God had defied and broke up all of their man-made security put in place to ensure that prisoners do not escape. And being convinced of God’s mighty work before His very eyes, even preventing him from committing suicide, “he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, [acts 16:29] and brought them out and said:

The Jailer’s Big Question

“Sirs what must I do to be saved?”[Acts 16: 30]

Paul’s Simple Answer

“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” [Acts 16: 31]

Subsequently Paul and Silas ministered the Word of God to all that were in the house, and the Jailer took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and his, straightway.” [Acts 16:33]

Again,

Beloved, in AD 58, Paul, who was filled with the higher Holy Ghost anointing, found some disciples at Ephesus, and he said to them, “Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?” And they responded, “We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.” And he said unto them, “Unto what then were ye baptized?” And they said, “Unto John’s baptism.” Then said Paul, “John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on Him which should come after him, that is, Christ Jesus.” The Disciples’ quick response,

‘When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.’

And when Paul had laid His hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. [Acts 19: 6]

Beloved, true repentance; and God’s forgiveness through faith in Christ is what save sinners from His imminent wrath!!! And those who believe on Jesus Christ do not hesitate to be baptized “in the name of Jesus Christ!!!”

Beloved, this is your Moment of Inward Change!

Faith in Christ is what saves the moment you sincerely believe the Gospel that: Jesus the Christ died for your sins; was buried and rose again on the third day―after 72 hours. And that that faith identifies you with Him in His death, burial and resurrection!!! [Romans 6:2-8; Colossians 2:12-13] : Thus your positive shift to Baptism “in the name of Jesus Christ” will serve as pure evidence in the sight of Almighty God and man that you sincerely believe on Jesus Christ!!!

Have you truly repented of your sins since you have been hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Have you been baptized? If yes, and if not baptized in the name of Jesus Christ since you believed on Him, unto what then were you baptized??? may I ask. [Acts 19: 3]

Message

A simple meaning of the term “prophesy” is “to foretell, or to predict”

Beloved, many a man has been claiming that the Bible was written by man, as an excuse, or a means to reject the Word of God. However, the origin of the prophecy “in old times” had absolutely nothing to do “with the will of man” period. Instead prophesy had all to do with Almighty God, and His method of communicating with holy men about things that would come to past long before they really occur. In the inspired Word found in 11 Peter 1:21, it stated pellucidly (abundantly clear) that “holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” It is noteworthy that speech was before writing. Also, holy men, whom Almighty God, chose as His mouthpiece were the true prophets, and to prove that they were, and what they spoke under the influence of the Holy Spirit were accurate, Yahweh the Most High, brought their predictions to pass. Amen. Proof of a true prophet: it is written:

“When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follows not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid.” [Deuteronomy 18:22]

Proof of a true Prophet of God

According to the scripture the prophet has spoken presumptuously if the thing that he said did not come to pass. It therefore means that that prophet/ess is false since he/she is not moved by the Holy Spirit to say anything. Interestingly, both the false and the true prophets speak and do speak, but the difference is that when it comes to prophecy, the former speaks by his own will, on one hand: while the latter speaks as he/she is moved by the Holy Ghost.

quill-175980__180 Beloved, the part the word “as” play in the sentence, “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost,” shows clearly the time of the prophetic utterance. Therefore the term “as” is an adverb which modifies, or adds to the meaning of the verb “spake,” if someone asks the question who spake, or spoke? The answer would be: Holy men of God spake. Again, if the question is asked, when did the holy men of God speak? The answer would be: The holy men of God spake as (or at the time when) they were moved by the Holy Ghost. You will agree with me now that the holy men did not utter any prophetic word on their own unless they were prompted by the Holy Spirit. However, to preserve what they were led to speak they wrote their inspiration on scrolls, or carved them on wood and stones and whatever useful materials they could find.

Which man is ominiscient so that his/her writings equal that of the Inspired Word of God?

In an article I read recently in the Kaiteur News, another believer quoted scriptures to support the point he made about Capital punishment: and a critic mentioned that the believer had only used the Bible to support his point. In his mind the critic did not see that the Word of God as being infallible since it was God breathed, or inspired. He did not see that it (the Bible) is the history of mankind, and that the pure Word of God is to be respected and applied appropriately to our lives according to Almighty God’s will and purpose, for example, “Man should not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” [Matthew 4:4] Thus to the critic, the Word of God was not enough for the Believer to make his point, and in addition to the scripture, he (the believer) should have used other related books (the opinion of men) to support his point.

Beloved, we, who have believed the pure Word, and have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered us [Romans 6:17], know better, that the inspired Word in infallible. It is written:

“Every Word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him. Add thou not unto His Words, lest He reproves thee, and thou be found a liar.”[Proverbs 30:5-6]

Again,

“…And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” [11 Timothy 3:15-17]

The Holy Spirit of promise

Many today have little or no respect for God and His Word, and for themselves. Thus in their self-righteousness, and sustained rebellion against Almighty God the omniscient one, and His Word: they seek to establish what they think is morally right. As a result, they being birds of a feather, blinded to the truth together; and in their lust for vanity, pride and power organize themselves into various groups, and seek the support of governments and politicians to aid them in enacting legislations to support their cause. I am not saying that all Human rights groups are wrong. But some are definitely oppose to the law of nature; and the divine principles according to the Word of God.

For example: There is still a remarkable truth that stands out in the “Daily News Mill” which was published on March 10, 2016. It caused no little rejoicing in heaven and with those of us on earth, who know and live the truth when it comes to our stance on homosexuality.

It is so amazing and timely that in the very midst of political trend when men and politicians would have been busy legalizing same sex marriage (some with aim to gain votes,) and some other religious groups and individuals, who would have been carrying out a kind of marriage thing according to their belief, (and only they know in whose name, and which god approves of what they do) Queen Elizabeth 11 of England publicly declared her Stance concerning homosexuality. Christ work on the inside of the Queen

Beloved, Queen Elizabeth 11 of England did not only save herself from the imminent wrath of Almighty God, but also her generations and all others , who seek truth now, and, who would love truth in their day instead of the false persuasion of a dying world whose fleshly desires are only leading them to self-destruction.

And I pray that individuals and politicians around the world today take serious note of Queen Elizabeth’s 11 wisdom and stance on homosexuality according to the Word of God: and repent, put Almighty God and Christ first in their lives; and make a public stance on homosexuality according to the infallible and inspired Word of God. [Romans 1:22-32] Amen.

Concerning the death penalty

Yahweh the Most High commanded that the death penalty be enforced when he told the post flood generation of Noah, “Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of a man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man. Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made He man.” [Genesis 9:3-6] Man must have respect for THE “IMAGE OF God” in his fellow men.

Beloved, in our Republic of Guyana, the death penalty exists but hardly enforced. It is part of our culture and should remain as such. But does the death penalty go out looking to execute individuals, may I ask? The answer is a simple no. That is why its presence is needed in any civilized society. We know that many so called modern societies are not really civilized, by the way heads of State and their Citizens behave. The problem is not with the Death Penalty: instead it is with the individuals and groups, who through their mindset are blood thirsty and trigger happy and careless about human life, let alone Almighty God, and the image of God which man bears. Interestingly, a man with a changed mindset by the power of God, will not be even bothered about the death penalty if it exists or not, because he/she will focus on life, the preservation of life, and the eternal life in Christ for all. The death penalty is to remind the lawless, those who programmed themselves to kill people in cold blood at a wink of the eye, without any conviction, that if they take a man’s life their lives will be required of them. With the presence of the death penalty in the law books, those who think that they can do this crime and get off will have a fair chance to think and rethink about the death penalty, and if they really want to loose their lives in that way.
Removing the death penalty is not the solution: instead changing the mindset of individuals and groups is the answer. The following is a classical example:

Put up AGAIN thy sword…

There is a lesson Christ taught His disciples, but especially the one who carried a sword and loved to draw it at a flash. And when he cut off the high priest servant’s ear the Christ said to him:

“Put up AGAIN thy sword into its place; for all they that take the sword shall perish with it.” [Matthew 26:52]

All human beings should be taught the lesson found in Matthew 26:52. All have the human right to be our brothers’ keeper, to become involved in programs and plans designed to speak directly to us and to all peoples as a whole: and to show us again and again how to put up our mode of weapons in their respective places: how to control ourselves in any given situation and our weapons too, including our “tongue.” [James 3:6]

Let us refrain from speaking against the inspired Word of God.

Beloved, Yahweh is speaking to mankind through His Word. Hear what it says to us, “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” [11 Peter 1:21]

Society is dependent upon life

Beloved, as Moses, I am a man of few words today. Society exists due to the existence of LIFE where ever it is found. And life itself continues in various specific societies in the animal kingdom from the lowest with shorter life spans to the highest with longer life spans, with beings of similar classification. This brings to mind Aristotle, who defined man, the highest in the animal kingdom and thus with the highest stage of development, as a “social animal.”

Beloved, a Society void of like-mindedness and co-operation is certainly disjointed to no little extent and very little is achieved, if any. For example: of the hundreds of Disciples of Christ, who were in the Upper Room waiting for the out-pouring of the Holy Spirit, nothing happened due to fears, doubts and unbelief, until only one and twenty (120) remained and pursued their purpose according to Yahweh’s will. And it was only when “they were all with one accord in one place,” that society received a mighty out pouring of the Holy Spirit, and “they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” Amen. [Acts 2:1-4]

Beloved, knowledge is power! In A.D. 33 the Society of the Disciples of Christ each had an understanding of the other and being together they became stronger. Finally, due to their common bond in Christ and their stance upon the Word of God, they received all received the Holy Spirit of Promise

It is written:

“… And being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but ‘for the promise of the Father ‘which, said He, “ye have heard of me. Foe John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.’” [Acts 1-4-5]

About our Guyanese Nation

Today marks fifty years since Guyana became an independent Nation, i.e. from May 26, 1966 to May 26, 2016.
We celebrate with thanksgiving.

Now concerning our Guyanese nation it is a multi Ethnic one. In these various groups there is like mindedness to some extent by some for the purpose of fulfilling their personal, political, economic, or other, goals which contribute nothing in terms of the establishment and further advancement of a genuine Guyanese Society.

My humble opinion

In my humble opinion, there is yet to create a Society of One people, One Nation, One Destiny according to the words of our Motto at the bottom of The Coat of Arms. Ideally this may be so, but in reality it is not so as yet. For Guyana to become society of One Nation, One People, One Destiny, I believe that (1) the revolution must first start in the individual so that the individual first becomes the change, and (2) dynamic leadership in this regard on the part of the Government; genuine cooperation from the leadership on the part of the opposition, and leadership at all levels; the Private Sector, Religious Groups; Institutions such as the Home, the School from the kindergarden level to the University level, etc., and right down to the last man at the grass root level, as they call it, is of vital importance.

Beloved, the New Green Guyanese “Society” to which I refer may be defined in one word, that is, “Cooperation.” In truth and in fact it is through social cooperation, like-mindedness, and guidance by wisdom from above, Guyanese with a common interest, will, with a New Mind Set, ― a super mindset, advance a Society of One People, One Nation, One Destiny, ―with scope for innovation; and extension, Locally, Regionally, and Internationally.

Urge

I urge Guyanese everywhere to pray that the words of our Guyanese motto created and written on the Coat of Arms some Fifty Years (50) become a reality within the individual such that there would be a common likeness in this regard,― to create such a society as a way forward as of now…, even as we celebrate our Golden Jubilee of Independence, with thanks giving.

May Yahweh richly bless you and your household, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Let it be known

Beloved, let it be known that after their Passover experience, and Departure from the land of Egypt, Yahweh led the Children of Israel, under Moses their leader, through the Red Sea on dry ground as it were. Consequently, instead of leading these descendants of Father Abraham, according to the flesh, immediately into Canaan the Promised Land, Yahweh led them into the wilderness where those, who survived due to their obedience to Him, were defused from the ungodly influence and lifestyle of the Egyptian world within a period of forty years. Further, among other laws, for example, the civil, and the ceremonial, He gave to Moses and the children of Israel the Decalogue or the Ten Commandments on two tablets of stones, in order to build character in them such that that spirit in their entire community would reflect the love of Yahweh, and the love of their neighbor. Interestingly, such characteristic spirit among the community of the children of Israel was significant and necessary for their survival; and their fulfillment of Yahweh’s will and plan for them in the Promised Land, i.e. to drive out seven nations which were “greater and mightier” than they [Deuteronomy 7:1]: and to occupy and establish themselves there only in Yahweh’s righteousness.

While in the wilderness, however, and long before the children of Israel entered into the Promise Land, Yahweh demanded separateness of them from the many idol worshipping nations [Deuteronomy 7:5] whom they would cast out, even as He delivered them before their very eyes. He instructed the Children of Israel at that time to: smite them, utterly destroy them, make no agreement with them, show no mercy unto them, or make any marriages with them. According to the scriptures, the reasons for not making any marriages with them and acting sternly with them were abundantly clear. The scriptures say:

“For they will turn away thy son from following me that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly”[Deuteronomy 7:4]
“For thou art a holy people unto the Lord thy God [Deuteronomy 7:6]
The Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto Himself, above all the people that are upon the face of the earth, [Deuteronomy 7:6] and,
The Lord did not set His love upon you, nor choose you, because you were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: but because He would keep the oath which He had sworn unto your fathers, hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand off Pharaoh king of Egypt.[ Deuteronomy 7:7]

The New Generation under Joshua

It was unfortunate though, that many of the older men and women died in the wilderness because “they obeyed not the voice of the Lord.” [Joshua 5:6] However, a new generation led by Joshua and Caleb entered the promise land eventually, but not before Joshua circumcised the males among them “at the hill of the foreskins.” It is written:

“And this is the cause why Joshua did circumcise: all the people that came out of Egypt, that were males, even all the men of war, died in the wilderness by the way, after they came out of Egypt. Now all the people that came out were circumcised: but all the people that were born in the wilderness by the way as they came forth out of Egypt, them they had not circumcised. For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the Lord: unto whom the Lord sware that He would not show them the land, which the Lord sware unto their fathers that He would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey. And their children whom He raised up in their stead, them Joshua circumcised….” [Joshua 5: 4-7]

Note worthily, after the new generation who were circumcised was healed, the Lord said unto Joshua, “This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you,” and the place was called Gilgal. In addition, “they kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at even in the plains of Jerico. And they did eat unleaven cakes, and parched corn the same day. And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten the cold corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna anymore; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year. [Joshua 5:9-12]

The effects of Christ becoming the Paschal Lamb and the new Covenant

Beloved, the Old Testament law, Covenant and the Passover became of no effect in A.D. 33, when instead of a traditional lamb among the flock of lower animals: Christ the Lamb of God was crucified at Mt. Calvary on the fourteenth of Nisan to take away the sins of all the nations of the world. The law was added because of transgressions, until the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. [Galatians 3:19] And since no law given could give life, righteousness by the law is impossible. It is written:

“The scripture hath concluded all under sin that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. But before faith came, we (meaning the children of Israel) were kept under the law, shut up unto faith which should afterwards be revealed.” [Galatians 3:21-23]

It is crystal clear to see that the law was the children of Israel school master to bring them unto Christ, that they might be justified by faith. “But after that faith is come those who exercise faith in Christ are no longer under a school master, but are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” [Galatians 3:24-27]

Christ the seed of Abraham being come on the public scene since in A.D.30 was crucified in A.D.33 in fulfillment of the scriptures. And the Time of Reformation was ushered in when Christ became an High Priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not this building; neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” [Hebrews 9:10] That Divinely Sanctioned Reformation brought no little Rapid Radical Changes to the Jewish Religious System of the day, notably, (1) We, believing Priests/esshave boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, which He hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, His flesh.” [Hebrews 10:19-20] and, (2) A New Era, Grace; and new Covenant came into effect, just to mention a few. Concerning the Covenant it says: This is the covenant I will make with them after those days saith the Lord:

“I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them: and their sins and iniquity will I remember no more.” [Hebrews 10:16-17]

Thus instead of law of works for righteousness: Grace; and faith in Christ for righteousness became the order of the day to this date, and until Christ returns…. As a result, as an Inward Jew Nation in Christ, among others, our walk in the Spirit [Galatians 5:16], even as we pass our sojourn here on planet earth, is along the path that Yahweh has chosen for us, according to the New Testament in Christ’s shed blood, and this is by faith and in the Spirit.[Galatians 5:1]

The importance of the practice of separateness from ungodly living

Beloved, in the New Testament Model, the children of Father Abraham according to the flesh are not the children of Yahweh the Most High God: instead the Children of Promise are! It is written:

“But that after faith is come, we are no longer under a school master. For we are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptised into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither male or female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are we Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” [Galatians 3:25-29]

As an integral part of the children of promise we, the inward Jew Nation in Christ (Guyana, South America) are journeying towards a Place on the level of the Spirit. According to the scriptures, Christ said to His disciples, and is still saying to us who believe today, “…I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am there ye may be also.” [John 14:2-3]

Beloved, to be with Christ in that place He referred to, one has to practice separateness from the ungodly world, in the sense that he is not part of it, even though he is in it (the world.) Jesus in His intercessory prayer said:

“…And now I come to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy Word; and the world hath hated thee, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shuoldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep the from evil. They are not of the world, of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy Word is truth.” John 17:13-17]

So then non- conformity to the world is one of the prerequisite to be with Christ Jesus in that place He has gone to prepare for believers and the body of Christ. It all boils down to one word i.e. “love.” on Yahweh’s part.

Mankind has the power to choose either to love the ungodly world, or to love Yahweh the Most High God. If one loves Yahweh more: then he would obey His Word which says:

“Love not the world… the world passes away and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” [1 John 2:15-17]

As in the Old Testament scriptures [[Deuteronomy 7:5:, the New Testament Scriptures, namely, 1 John 2:16, John the Apostle commanded the body of Christ in whom the Word of God abideth to demonstrate separateness from “world.” He gave justifiable reasons for doing so [1 John 2:15], and in a scriptural sense defined “world” within the context of scriptures as “lust.” In verse sixteen, for example, John gave an analytical breakdown of the term “world,” and it says, “For all that is in the world, the lust of the fxamlesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” John concluded thus:

“And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” [1 John 15:17]

Today, our focus should be on our young generation

Beloved, we the older believers and Children of Promise have all had, and experienced our wilderness wandering at one time or the other in our life, and some of us are still going through it, so none can boast of having arrived…. Today, let us turn some of our attention to our young people and teach them the ways of Yahweh through Christ our Lord and Savior. Concerning our young generation in these last days, who are caught up in the midst of global corruption and apostasy in the churches: in spite of corruption in all its forms everywhere: the Gospel of Jesus Christ is still the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes. [Romans 1: 16] As a result, redemption through the precious blood of Christ is still the solution to man’s mental and spiritual enslavement. [1 Peter 1:18-19] And separateness from the world as defined within the contest of scriptures in 1 John 2:15-17, will take young people and adults, who really desire to serve Yahweh, and Christ our example, to newer and higher levels of consciousness in Him, provided that we take the following steps as we are urged to do in Romans 12:1-2 below:

By your own will present your body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God your heavenly Father. Remember it is about who controls your body here. If you allow God to control your body by an act of surrender to His will and purpose for your life, it should be your reasonable service― when you think about His love, mercy and grace towards you
You know that you are in the Promised Land on the level of the spirit when as Christ, you become a living sacrifice. Remember whatever you do in this live you ensure that is done within the will of God … and
You know that through your non-conformity stance towards the ungodly world by your words and deeds that, Yahweh has separated you from it (the ungodly world) by the power of His Spirit, such that you, yet in it, now have a mind that is renewed, one which demonstrates full proof that you are not only now set apart unto God, but also conformed to His perfect will. [Romans 12:1-2]

My inspirational thoughts on crucifixion of self and Christ consciousness

Let us all rejoice in Christ, for at His coming, He will take all who endure to the end to that Prepared Place in His Father’s Manson. [Romans 14:1-2] But until then, by experience, I am saying to us that, in mortifying the deeds of one’s fleshly desires within, one would through the precious blood of Christ, experience His Passover over and departure from mental and spiritual enslavement; and sin and death: and instead, he/ she would be showered with a new hope, new joys, new beginnings, in short, a new life in abundance in Christ would spring up within himself/herself in which He/she would enter and possess their Promised Land; one that truly flows with milk and honey on the level of the spirit.

Beloved, on this level of consciousness in Christ, you get a “peep” about what crucifixion of self is really meant in the lines of the Apostle to the Galatians 2:20 which says:

“I am crucified in Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.”

In the Old Testament, as the younger generation, under the leadership of Joshua and Caleb, were circumcised at the hill of their foreskin before they entered and occupied Canaan the Land of Promise: even so today our young people and adults, who believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ from the depths of the heart, must experience a genuine circumcision, but that of the heart, by the power of the Holy Spirit, at a time such as this, ― in order to enter and occupy that spiritual Place of Promised Rest within, where we can experience His peace and quiet rest in our lifetime here and now, and beyond i.e. in His Father’s House.

Let us all rejoice in Christ, for at His coming, He will take all who endure to the end to that Prepared Place in His Fathers Manson. [Romans 14:1-2] But until then, by experience, I am saying to us that, in mortifying the deeds of one’s fleshly desires within, one would through the precious blood of Christ, experience His Passover over and departure from mental and spiritual enslavement; and sin and death: and instead, he she would be showered with a new hope, new joys, new beginnings, in short, a new life in abundance in Christ would spring up within himself/herself in which He/she would enter and possess their Promised Land, ―one that truly flows with milk and honey on the level of the spirit.

About our Passover 2016

Passover 2016, which we kept on Friday, April 22, at sundown, was awesome. We were graced with His sweet peace, presence and glorious anointing throughout the meeting, as we reflected on Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us. How through His shed blood we passed over from condemnation and death, ― to life, and are serving Yahweh the living God. How through Christ, we escaped or departed from the ungodly world in the sense that we are not of it, but yet are in it, and are engaged in winning souls for Christ. How through Christ, we by faith are journeying along the highest spiritual path of righteousness on earth with continuity through eternity. Thanks to Yahweh for Christ our Passover sacrificed for us. [1 Corinthians 5:7] We look forward to Passover 2017, should Christ Jesus tarry.

What Nation is so great as His Redeemed or Liberated Nation through the precious Blood of Christ?

Beloved Yahweh has an all inclusive plan of salvation for all Nations under the sun, who fear Him, repent and return to Him through Christ His Son, and believe the Word from the heart. Millennia back, Yahweh promised the Children of Israel under Moses another Prophet. Moses was just a faithful servant, but the Prophet of promise whom they were told that the Lord God would raise up among them like unto Moses, is Christ the Son of God, who is Head and High Priest for ever over the household of Yahweh. [Deuteronomy 18:15, Hebrews, 10:21] Moses reminded the children of Israel in no uncertain terms that the Prophet of promise was in response to the desire of their fathers, who desire of Yahweh in Mt. Horeb, in the day of the assembly there, that is, when they said, “Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, neither let me see this great fire anymore, that I die.” And the Lord said unto me (Moses), ‘they have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise up a prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in His mouth, and He shall speak unto you all that I commanded Him.’ [Deuteronomy18:15-18]

So it is abundantly clear that instructions to the children of Israel were not going to stop at Moses the Law giver: instead they (instructions from Yahweh) were going to continue through the Prophet of promise, namely, Yeshua Messiah (Jesus the Christ),― the bigger picture. O yes, the children of Israel are required to listen to Him. It is written, “… unto Him ye shall hearken.” [Deuteronomy 18:15] And Yahweh speaks to all “by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds.” [Hebrews 1:1-2]And to know what Yahweh is saying to us through Yeshua His Son we need to study the scriptures, the New Testament Scriptures inclusive.

Interestingly, an early sign demonstrating the children of Israel listening and following the instructions of the Prophet of promise was when the servants at the wedding at Cana in Galilee wanted wine to serve the guests, and Mary the mother of Yeshua (Jesus), the Prophet of promise, said to them, “whatsoever He saith unto you, do it.”[Matthew 2:5] Bless Yahweh, the wine created by Christ was the best, according to the Governor of the wedding. [John 2:9-10]

Again, in Peter’s address to the men of Israel, who marveled at the miraculous healing of the lame man who was laid daily at the gate of the Temple called Beautiful, he sought to bring the children of Israel into a new dimension of the Spirit, where they could have and enjoy a right relationship with Yahweh and Christ His Son, in the New Covenant of Christ Blood. As a result, Peter said to the men of Israel, “Repent ye therefore and be converted that your sins may be blotted out….” [Acts 3:19] He told them also that a time will come when Yahweh will send them again Yeshua the very Messiah whom He has already appointed, who the heaven must receive until the time of restoration of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began…. Peter concluded his address to the men of Israel by saying:

“Unto you first God, having raised up His Son Yeshua or Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.“ [Acts 3:26]

My Inspirational Thought

Readers, come to Yahweh, through Christ (with a repentant heart, and a broken spirit,) and confess your sins to Him, for salvation and healing and blessings, that is, if you have not done so as yet, or if you are still in doubts!

Israel, and others under the Law, if you remain stuck at the reading of Moses, just remember what Yahweh said to you through Moses about the prophet of promise: He said listen to Him. See and obey Christ, who is the bigger picture in comparison to the little Moses. It is through Christ, whom you will receive your breakthrough from the bondage of religion, sin and death: and instead, establish a right relationship with Yahweh through Christ, since He the New Covenant Passover is sacrificed for you, and for the world. It is written:

“… For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness in speech: And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: but their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon the heart. Nevertheless, when it (the heart) shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the lord is, there is liberty.” [Isaiah 25:7; 11 Corinthians 3:10-17]

Beloved, your redemption or freedom in Christ was not bought with corruptible (perishable) things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation (lifestyle) received from your fathers; “but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you. Who by Him do believe in God that raised Him up from the dead, and give Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.”

Therefore by all means experience your miracle of salvation, and redemption through the precious blood of Christ. [1 Peter 1:18-19]

The Good News

I have Good News for everyone! The Prophet of promise came roughly about 2000 years ago in the person of Yeshua Messiah, (Jesus Christ). You may read more and more about Christ in the New Testament Scriptures, so as to grow in grace and the stature of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Readers, as the 5000 men, who believed the Word of God, you too may receive salvation through Christ Jesus, if you only believe, repent of your sins, and invite Christ into your heart and live today. It is written:

For “neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” [Acts 4:12] Amen.

The Body of Christ, of which we Inward Jew Nation in Christ are an integral part, is His New Creation in the New Covenant of His Blood. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God had hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” [Ephesians 2:10]
What Nation is so great as His Redeemed or Liberated Nation through the precious Blood of Christ? Shalom.

The term Passover in the Old Testament is used synonymously with the term Easter in the New Testament scripture. The Old Testament Passover is a Jewish festival celebrated annually from Nisan 14 -21/22, in observance of the departure from Egypt and the liberation of that particular generation of the children of Israel from enslavement in Egypt. The blood of the lamb played an important role in that when the death angel saw it on the lintel and door posts of the children of Israel, he passed over them, thus sparing the lives of their first born, but killed all of the first born among the Egyptians.[ Exodus 12:1-16]

The O T model of tabernacle “was a figure for the present in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect; which stood only in meats, and drinks, and diverse washings, and casual ordinances imposed on them “until the time of reformation.” [Hebrew 9:10]

The New Testament Passover marked the crucial time in Biblical History when the Old Testament paradigm of Tabernacle, a shadow of the true Tabernacle in heaven, was abandoned by God and His Son Christ, because it had already fulfilled its purpose. [Hebrews 8:5] According to the scriptures, with the first Tabernacle (the earthly one) abandoned and thus moved out of the way, a new event followed, which I call the crossing over from the first Tabernacle into the second, (the heavenly, the greater and more perfect Tabernacle not made with hands, Hebrews 6:6, 9:11, 24-28]) first by Christ our Example, and afterwards by all believers in every nation who believe and exercise faith in Him. [Hebrews 9:12, 19: 10:18-24] And this is scripturally true for it is written:

“For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands,(the first earthly Tabernacle) which are the figures of the true; but into the heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: Nor yet that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest entered into the holy place every year with blood of others; for then must He often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath He appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” [Hebrews 9:24-28]

Let us take advantage of our prepaid liberation

Beloved, our prepaid liberation, that is to say, deliverance from mental and spiritual enslavement, and the crossing over into the New Testament Paradigm (Model) of Tabernacle with access into the holiest of all through the veil (His flesh), became evident and accessible to us (the body of Christ as a whole) in A.D. 33, when “Christ our Passover was crucified for us.” Let us give Yahweh praise in Jesus’ name. And bless Yahweh, Jesus’ crucifixion [Matthew 27:33-35], resurrection [Matthew 28:5-6], and ascension [Acts 1:9-11] ushered in “the time of reformation,” which commenced with a series of changes and New Beginnings, for example, the first Tabernacle was moved out of the way. Amen Readers!!! Subsequently, the imperfect Levitical Priesthood with attendance at the altar was changed: and it gave place to another Priest, who is made after the power of an endless life, and whose Priesthood was after the likeness of Melchisedec, namely, the High Priesthood of Christ. Praise Yahweh, Hallelujah! Jesus the Christ came forth from the tribe of Judah of which tribe Moses mentioned nothing concerning priesthood; ―by all these biblical facts and more, the Holy Ghost signified that “the way into the holiest of all” in the heavenly Tabernacle, was made manifest. [Hebrews 7:11-16, 9:8] It was Christ, who said:

“… Lo I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first that He may establish the second. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Christ once for all… Now where remission of these is (sins and iniquities) there is no more offering for sin. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a New and Living Way, which He hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, His flesh; and having an high priest over the house of God; let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us holdfast the profession of our faith without wavering.” [Hebrews 10:7, 9-10, 18-23]

For the Readers’ consideration

Beloved, considered this, “For if the blood of bulls and of calves, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.” [Hebrews 9:13-14]

Know without any shadow of a doubt, that Almighty God has made a perfect way through Christ His Son for the forgiveness of our sins, for the cleansing of our conscience from dead works by the blood of Christ, to serve Him. It is written:

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” [1 John 1:9]

Digest and be blessed: believe and receive

Digest: Readers, you can be liberalize from mental and spiritual enslavement by the blood of Christ, [1 Peter 1:18-19] if you truly confess your sins to God, with a desire to follow Christ, by faith, even at this point in time. If you do, God our heavenly Father will keep His Word, forgive you of your sins and wash them all away in the blood of Christ, and the sea of His forgetfulness. So apply the Word to your life today and every day and receive your blessings of Eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. [1 John 1:8-10]

Beloved, Christ our New Testament Passover remains relevant until He returns, and He guarantees everlasting life to each believer who is under His blood, who hears the Word and believe on God the Father, who sent His Son Jesus Christ. This group of believers “shall not come into condemnation but is passed from death unto life.” [John 5:24] This group of believers worldwide can testify boldly by faith of our personal Easter or Passover, meaning how our lives were spared by the blood of Christ.

Beloved, Christ our New Testament Passover is a way of life for us, by whose blood we purge out the old leaven, meaning sin working within our members, both individually and collectively. As part of the body of Christ, the Word of God instructs us to, “Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us.” [1 Corinthians 5:7]

My inspirational thought

Beloved, the New Testament Passover, however, is not a Jewish festival exclusively; instead it is meant to be an all inclusive celebration of “Christ our Passover sacrifice for us,” among believers in union with Him, in all nations worldwide. And as part of the body of Christ, come Friday, April 22, 2016 at sundown, we, the Inward Jew Nation in Christ, (Guyana, South America,) will be celebrating “Christ our Passover sacrificed for us,” i.e. for paying the ransom with His precious blood for: our redemption, or liberation from Mental and Spiritual Enslavement, our departure “from dead works to serve the living God,” and for saving our lives from destruction on the Day of Judgment. [“by the precious blood of Christ,” [1 Peter 1:18-19; Hebrews 9:13-14] It is written:

“Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.” [Psalm 1:5-6]

Christ having done His part, it is now left to individual believers and the body of Christ in every generation to do their part, and to ensure that we feast on Christ, not with the old leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. [1 Corinthians 5:8] This is the Word of God.

I close with an excerpt from my March/April 1997 publications, namely, “Kingdom Crusader.”

The Topic: Easter Experiences.

In my introductory paragraph I wrote, “The traditional Lenten season has passed. The Easter holiday has ended and many have not experienced Easter in a personal way.”…

“Easter is mentioned only once in the New Testament. (Acts 12:4) The words ‘Easter’ and ‘Passover’ are synonymous.”

Under the subheading Experience Easter for Yourself, I wrote:

“You have received power and authority to put to death the deeds of the flesh… You have Jesus as your Passover, and you are under His blood. As a result, the Lord has passed over you, but will kill the first born of the Egyptians’ sons in your life, that is, the deeds of the flesh; according to your faith and desire of your heart, as you yield yourself to the Holy Spirit.” ‘Reckon ye yourself to be dead indeed unto sin: but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.’ [Romans 6:11] If you have done all this, then you have experience Easter. Happy Easter. Please share your experience with others.

Beloved, today, we rejoice because we are alive and well in Jesus’ name. And that we are kept by the power of God, ever since we first believed. Praise Yahweh the living God! And we rejoice even more because of our fellowship with Yahweh our heavenly Father, and His Son Jesus the Christ. [1 John 1:3-4] Through His shed blood, and by faith in Him, we are Bone Fide Sons of God and joint heirs with Christ, in the New Testament of His blood. O, let us give Yahweh the Most High, glory. Beloved, as the saints in Christ of First Century, we Sons of God, and are built upon the (same) foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being our chief corner stone; in whom the whole body of Christ fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: in who we also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. [Ephesians 2:20-22] Readers, if you believe this please say Amen.

Beloved, God the Father of all; and Christ Jesus dwell in us, who believe from the heart. Additionally, with wisdom and the understanding from above, we can do all things through Christ in our current generation, and in generations of every epoch to come. And so, our aim in our present generation is, to liberate African Descendants from mental and spiritual enslavement; and all nations, who believe the Gospel of Christ, we preach, and with Yahweh’s approval be translated into the kingdom of God, and of Christ, both now and in the future. [Colossians 1:13, 1 Corinthians 15:18-28]

It is time we be liberated and translated …! [Colossians 1:13] But to affect change we as individuals must choose to be, or not to be changed by the way God approves. The change which Yahweh approves for man is liberation, or redemption by the precious blood of Christ Jesus. [1 Peter 1:18-19] As the Apostles; by experience, we, too, give readers the assurance that:

“We were not redeemed with corruptible (material) things, as silver and gold, from our vain conversation (manner of lifestyle) received by tradition from our fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as a lamb without blemish and without spot….” [1 Peter 1:18-19]

Beloved, as joint heirs with Christ, who was the forty second generation from Abraham. [Matthew 1:17] it is important that we, the Inward Jew Nation in Christ, (Guyana South America): know the order of our generation from Christ to this date. Thus a Major Crossing Over Point and Event in Biblical History we are using to start our reckoning is “the time of Reformation” [Hebrews 9:10] which marked the following events in succession: (1) the crucifixion of Jesus the Christ, (2) His ascension and status as High Priest by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered in once into the holy place (in heaven), having obtained a eternal redemption for us. ” [Hebrews 9:11-12], and (3) the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost,―all those events took place in Jerusalem in March-April 33-34 A.D.

The following is a rough calculation of the order of our generation in Christ, according to my reckoning, i.e. from March-April 33-34 A.D. to March- April 2016. (subject to correction)

How we in Guyana arrived at a rough calculation of a generation

Let’s come to a common understanding. Given that the able bodied people in Guyana and in most societies are between the age of twenty (20) to sixty five (65) years: then the difference between 65 and 20 is 45. Hence forty five years (45) could be considered for our modern generation. Now from March- April 33 A.D. to March- April 2016 are, 2016-33 =1983 years. Next, we divide 1983 by 45, and the answer is 44 Generations.

Beloved, as the forty fourth (44) generation of New Testament witnesses in Christ, commencing from the outpouring of the Holy Spirit of promise on the day of Pentecost at Jerusalem in A.D.33-34, [Acts 2:1-12] the responsibility is ours:

The way forward …

First, to liberate ourselves from mental and spiritual slavery, and

Second, to convert and strengthen our brethren and all who believe from the heart, that they can be fully liberated by the blood of Christ.

As Simon Peter, we would have denied Christ several times, yes, but Christ has been making intercessions on our behalf that our faith fails not, and as we become stronger daily in Christ , He expects us “to strengthen our brethren,” in Him. [Luke 22:.32]

Beloved, as our Ancestors resisted physically slavery in all forms until they were fully emancipated in 1838, (in Guyana and in the West Indies) by the help of Yahweh, so that after that time we, their offspring did not have to go through it: likewise we, who by the grace of Yahweh, who are liberated from Mental and Spiritual Enslavement by the precious blood of Christ, must ensure that we preach, teach and be witnesses of a relevant Gospel of Christ, and most importantly by our lifestyle, too, that would influence and liberate our immediate and future generations of African Descendants, and all Nations, who believe, from Mental and Spiritual Enslavement. And what are necessary and relevant to our liberation are found in the Word of God. For example:

We must have faith in God, establish a right relationship with Him, and exercise our faith for our liberation by the blood of Christ [Hebrews 11:6; 1 Peter 1:18-19]]
We must experience a New Birth in Christ Jesus [John 3:3 & 5]
We must be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ might dwell in our hearts by faith; that we be rooted and grounded in love [Ephesians 3:17]
We must by the grace of God have: His wisdom; the ability to discern our condition, the times and systems; and to turn them around for our benefit, in Jesus’ name. We have the ability to think for ourselves; and the faith to study and interpret the scriptures by the Holy Spirit’s help to arrive at appropriate solutions that are biblically sound for our liberation, socio-economic growth, and development at all levels. [1 Thessalonians 4: 11-12, Matthew 7: 11 Timothy 2:15] So what are we waiting for???
We must study to be quiet, and to do our own business, and to work with our own hands…that we may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing. [1 Thessalonians 4: 11-12]
We must at all times transmit to our immediate and perpetual generations, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise. [Philippians 4:8]

Among other things we must teach them for example: the Apostles stance on the distinctiveness of the Godhead (meaning God, who is the Highest of all) according to the Word. They taught:

God “will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is One God, and One Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due times. [1Timothy 2:15]
“… There is none other God but One. For though they be that are called gods, whether in heaven, or in earth, (as there be gods many,) But to us there is but One God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in Him; and One Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by Him.” [1 Corinthians 8:4-6], and

What Yahweh Himself commanded Moses to teach:

Yahweh commanded Moses to teach the Ancient Children of Israel thus, “Hear O Israel: the Lord our God is One Lord. And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words which I command thee this day, shall be in thy heart: and thou shall teach them diligently unto thy children, and shall talk of them when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when risest up… and on thy gates.” [Deuteronomy 6:4-9]

What Jesus the Christ knew and taught about God His Father

Digest: “God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.” [John 4:24]

It is noteworthy that, the noun “God” is singular number, third person, and it is in the nominative case because it is the subject of the verb “is.” The demonstrative adjective “a” (short form of one) describes the noun “Spirit” which is the object of the verb “is.” Since the subject is singular and the verb is singular also, there is concord here between the subject and the verb. Therefore “God” is singular, or one Spirit, and the one divine Spirit is God alone. Further, the verb “is” is the present tense, and it is in the subjunctive mood because it expresses a fact that, God is a (One) Spirit.

When we did not know better, we follow others blindly: but now we say what the Word says

Previously we said what others say about God; but as of now we say what the Word of God says about God. If you will, let God hear you say Amen. Amen!

Beloved, if we, who are liberated in Christ and know it, are serious about liberating our immediate and future generations and others from enslavement, we will have to point them to an appropriate biblical solution that is applicable to all of us, i.e. in the body of Christ as a whole. Remember that we are engaged in spiritual warfare. Know that who or what controls the mind controls the man for the moment, and for as long as he allows it. Therefore it is high time that we return to God and allow Him to liberate us in Jesus’ name. Understand that our current fight for liberation for all is not one that is against “flesh and blood, but against, principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” [Ephesians 6:12]

To be frank with us, no mere man can stand up against these negative forces, unless God be with Him. So had it not been for God, man would have been crushed as the finest powder by the devil and without mercy, to the point of being extinct long ago. But I want you to know that Yahweh our God, is merciful toward all men. He is longsuffering (patient) towards us not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. [11 Peter 3:9]. And bless God, for we have a God, who is not only merciful and patient toward us, but also one who cares for us in that He has provided man with the solution to withstand all tricks of the devil. According to the Word, the solution is, “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. [Ephesians 6:12]

We can only be strong if we obey the Word

Beloved, we can only be strong in the Lord if we obey His Word. And this is possible since God gave man: a mind of his own, that he might think and choose for himself; a will of his own, that he might be self motivated; and the power to reason on his own that he might analyze and assess things and arrive at valid conclusions, as led by the Spirit, and according to the Word of God at all times.

The carnal and the spiritual mind

However, due to his fallen nature, man’s mind is a carnal one. And the carnal mind is governed by the law of sin and death. Thus “to be carnally minded is death.” [Romans 8:2 & 6] According to the biblical definition, “The carnal mind is enmity against God for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.” [Romans 8:7] As a result, “they that are in the flesh cannot please God.”[Romans 8: 5] The carnal mind is the root cause of keeping victims mentally and spiritually enslaved. And since this is a fact, to be liberated from mental and spiritual enslavement we need to have a spiritual mind so that we can walk after the Spirit. And this spiritual mind is the very mind of Christ which is available to all in Christ Jesus, who believe from the heart. The scriptures declare:

“That there is therefore now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. [Romans 8:1-2] Let us give Yahweh praise for the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. O, glory to God, hallelujah!!! If you need to be really free, and you need it badly, claim it right here and now, in Jesus’ name.

But to be unshackled from mental and spiritual enslavement, it must be done with the understanding. Man needs to know himself, in the sense, that he must become conscious that they are two main laws, or principles present and active in his being, namely, (1) the law of sin in the members of man’s body, and (2) the law of the mind. [Romans 7:23] The former works constantly against the latter, and influences man to follow the desires of the flesh, and brings him under the law of sin, where he becomes a servant to sin. [Romans 7:23] The latter, however, influences the inward man (the spirit man) to chase after the things of God, and “to delight in the law of God.” [Romans 7:22] It is written;

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law doth he meditate day and night….” [Psalm 1:1-2]

Man’s personal experience of sin working in his members, and his belief in the Word from the heart, helps him to choose one of two paths: either the path, or the way of the ungodly in unrighteousness [Psalm 1:4-6], or the path and way of the godly, through which he can pray to Yahweh for his inward cleansing. [Psalm 1:3 & 6, 51: 6-7 &10]

King David’s experience

For example: King David went in to Uriah’s wife Bathsheba, and after Nathan the prophet approached him on the very matter, he became broken in heart and prayed to Yahweh for his inward cleansing. In desperation and in guilt plenty David said:

“Have mercy upon me, O god, according to thy loving-kindness” according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin for I acknowledge my transgressions and my sin is ever before me.

Against thee, thee only have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mighest be justified when thou speakest , and be clear when thou judgest.

Behold I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceived me. Behold thou desirest truth in inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

Purge me with hissop and I shall be clean: wash me, and Ishall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness that the bones which thou hadst broken may rejoice. Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

Create in me a clean heart O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy Holy Spirit from me.

Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free Spirit. Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. [Psalm 51:1-13]

Paul’s experience

Paul the Apostle, who after realizing that he (his inward man) was actually moving around in a body that was doomed to death, wanted to be liberated so badly that he did holler, or did scream, “ O wretched man that I am!!!” [Romans 7:24]

Convinced that he did not want to remain entrapped in his body of death any longer, the wise Paul put his total dependence on His savior and Lord Jesus the Christ, to liberate him. He trusted Jesus because he believed from the heart, that Yahweh God Almighty had sent Him to seek and to save the lost. And he said, “I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.” [Romans 7:25]

Finally, in Romans 7:25 Paul from his personal experience made a sharp distinction between the mind and the flesh when he concluded thus, “So with my mind I myself serve the law of God; but with my flesh the law of sin.”

Digest and be blessed: believe and receive

Unless individuals, religious groups, and men don’t know that they are walking around in a body doomed to death, because of sin, they won’t have an excuse. Know now, Readers, God has made a way of escape that whosoever believes could be liberated by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Your soul is too precious to lose it for temporal things that do not satisfy.

I urge you to reason within yourself and see how uncomfortable others become when they realize that in their flesh is no good thing, but death; and how they reacted to the facts of life within their body, for example, King David, and Paul the Apostle. May God richly bless you, even as you examine yourself, in Jesus’ name. May you allow the Holy Spirit to guide you in all your decision making from here onwards, even as you choose either to walk in the flesh, or to walk in the Spirit. Shalom.

“For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the lord Jesus the same night in which He was betrayed took bread: And when He had given thanks, He break it and said, “Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.”
After the same manneralso He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, “This cup is the new testament in my blood; this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in the remembrance of me.” [1 Corinthians 11: 24 & 25]

March –April is the month of Nisan and it is the beginning of the biblical ecclesiastical year, according to Leviticus 23:5. Happily, in the evening , on April 22, 2016, we will celebrate Christ and our Passover, “with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth,” even as we take part in His Supper in proclamation of His death till He comes. [1 Corinthians 5:7-8, 11:25-26] And at the same time we will celebrate our personal and collective departure from the bondage of sin and enslavement, by the precious Blood of Christ. [1 Peter 1:18-19] Let’s give Yahweh the Highest praise! Hallelujah!!!

Historical background to the Old Testament Passover

Beloved, the ancient children of Israel of the Old Testament were enslaved during their sojourn in Egypt for about four hundred and thirty years (430). Subsequently, through divine intervention they experienced a Passover, followed by an exodus (departure) from Egypt, i.e. through the Red Sea, by the outstretched hand of Yahweh. After the Crossing Over, to the other side of the Sea, Yahweh led them into the wilderness where they spent forty years of wandering, and conditioning, before a new generation met Yahweh’s requirements and entered the Promised Land under the leadership of Caleb and Joshua.

As Israel, our Ancestors from Africa were enslaved for about 400 years or more in the Americas

As the Ancient Children of Israel of the Old Testament, our ancestors from the West Coast of Africa, and Angola were enslaved for roughly four hundred years (400) in the Americas before they were fully emancipated. And this event took place at various periods, For example, some in North America were liberated: between 1777 and 1804; in Brazil, South America, by 1888, in Haiti (i.e. the Spanish West Indies,) by 1793 due to the victorious Haitian Revolution there; and in other colonies in the West Indies and in British Guiana, South America, our ancestors were fully liberated or emancipated from physical slavery on August 1, 1838, by the help of Yahweh…. through His human instruments…. However, no sooner physical slavery had been abolished, than a new form of it emerged, namely, Mental and Spiritual slavery, which has been adversely affecting the off-springs of the once enslaved Africans, during these post emancipation years i.e., 177 years (August 1, 1838- August 1, 2015). But the devil is a liar, for all who believe the Gospel of Christ, from the heart, will be fully emancipated by the precious blood of Christ.

The Precious Blood of Christ for the eradication of the new form of Enslavement on African Descendants and all Nations who believe

Beloved, it was in this current state of Mental and Spiritual enslavement that, we, the Inward Jew Nation in Christ (Guyana, South America,) an arm of the Universal Church of Christ Seventh Day Ministries INC., was birthed by the grace of Yahweh, on September 1, 2013. And we are committed to the preaching of the Gospel of Christ, for the liberation or emancipation of African Descendants and People of all Nations, who believe it from the heart, that we cannot be redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, or from their lifestyle of vanity received by tradition from their fathers: “but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” [1 Peter 1:18-19]

Requirements that define a Jew inwardly

We, who are born again, are born into the Family of God, and we are complete in Christ, who is the Head of all principalities and powers. Also in Christ, instead of a physical circumcision of the flesh, we are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ,” … and being dead in our sins and the circumcision of our flesh, hath He quickened (made alive) together with Him having forgiven us our trespasses. [Colossians 2:10-12] So with this change of heart by the Spirit, also referred to as “circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit,” [Romans 2:29] defines a New Creation in Christ, namely, “the Jew which is one inwardly.” And because we believe the Word from the heart, and it has become alive in us, we are Inward Jews in Christ, a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, that we should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called us out of darkness into His marvelous light: which in time pass were not a people, but are now a people of God’ which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. [1 Peter 2:9-10] Amen. Let us give Yahweh the Highest praise, Hallelujah!!!

The plight of those who keep the traditional O T Passover

Beloved, unlike Ancient Israel, whose divinely abandoned O T Passover is history, and therefore has no continuity to bring them into any real, spiritual and personal experience with Yahweh, and with Christ: for us, the Inward Jew Nation in Christ, (Guyana, South America,) and in all Nations who believe; our Passover is Christ, “who is sacrificed for us. [1 Corinthians 5:7] Our N T Passover has continuity through Yahweh and Christ the Son of God, who dwell in each believer by the Spirit. O rejoice with me, and together let us exalt the name Yahweh. Glory to Yahweh. Hallelujah!!!

Unlike Israel whose annual preparation for their Passover and the feast is outer and physical: our Inward Jew’s daily preparation for Christ our Passover is inward, or inner. In doing so, we “Purge out therefore the old leaven (sin on a daily basis) that we may be a new lump, as we are unleavened. It is written, “Therefore let us keep the feast, “not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.” [1 Corinthians 5:6-8]

It is noteworthy that in the Old Testament Dispensation, the lamb that was slain in Israel was “done of the letter,” and that that Dispensation though one of death, written and engraved in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; its glory was to be done away.” [11 Corinthians 3:7] This was so because it was a shadow of the real i.e. Jesus the Christ the Lamb of God, in the New Testament Dispensation, who took away the sins of the world. [John 3:16] Unlike the Old Testament Dispensation, the New Testament Dispensation is not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. [11Corinthians 3:6] And according to the scripture, the latter which remains is more glorious than the former which was done away with. [11 Corinthians 3:11-12] Can you say, Amen? I thank you. Amen. It is written:

The Situation

By reading Moses only, the veil is still upon the Children of Israel’s heart: and this is what is hindering them from turning to Christ Jesus. Also, unlike the O T Passover which Israel keep: we who have Christ our Passover, have a more that glorious one by comparison. Now, “Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: And not as Moses, who put a veil over his face that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which is abolished.” [11 Corinthians 3:12]

The Reason

According to the scripture, “But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the Old Testament; which veil is done away in Christ. “But even to this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon the heart.” [11 Corinthians 3:14]

The Solution

Instead of the outward Jewish ritual of circumcision of the flesh, and throwing out all physical things made with yeast or its equivalent from their premises etc; circumcision of the heart, in the spirit, the results of which are: (1) a change of heart, and (2) a mindset renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit; [Romans 12:1-2] are all requirements that clearly define a Jew inwardly in order to receive Yahweh’s approval and praise. [Romans 2:29] A Jew inwardly is anyone in any nation worldwide, who meets these requirements, Israel inclusive. Beloved, this is the Word of God.

Reading the Bible as a whole with special focus on the New Testament Scriptures would help not only Israel to come to acknowledge Christ as their Savior and Lord, but also their Passover, “who is sacrificed for us.” As a result, they would purge themselves from sins such as malice and wickedness; and keep the real and continuing and more established feast of Christ our Passover, ― with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.”

Note: A background of the Old Testament Passover may be in read in Exodus 12:1-20. So we will focus on our New Testament tradition concerning Christ our Passover who is sacrificed for us. Paul the Apostle wrote to the Church at Corinth thus:

Paul’s revelation on the New Testament Passover

“For I have received of the Lord that which also I have delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which He was betrayed took bread: and when He had given thanks he broke it and said, ‘Take it eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.’ After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, ‘This cup is the New Testament in my blood: this do in remembrance of me.’ For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, you do show the Lord’s death till He comes. Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the blood and body of the Lord.” But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation unto himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.” [1 Corinthians 11: 23-30]

My inspirational thoughts and comment

Finally, my Beloved, Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, the Lamb of God, became our Passover when He through the eternal Spirit offered Himself once without spot to God, “to bear the sins of many.” [Hebrews 9:28] And this memorable event took place at Mt. Calvary, outside of Jerusalem, where He was crucified in A.D. 33. Subsequently, He was placed in a tomb from sundown Tuesday (which is the commencement of Wednesday, for the night precedes the day [Genesis 1: 5] where He, as Jonah, spent seventy two full hours “in the heart of the earth,” [Matthew 12: 28-40] before His Father by His Spirit raised Him from the dead. And this event took place, in the end of the Sabbath, which was sometime after sundown Saturday when Sunday actually commences. The Dusk and the night season having passed, and as it began to dawn towards the day light of the first week Mary Magdalene, Joanna and the other Mary and others with them went to see the sepulcher. So when they arrived there an angel said to them, “Fear not for I know that ye seek Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here: for He is risen, as He said. Come see the place where the Lord lay.” [Matthew 28:1-6, Luke 24:1-10]

Beloved, when we celebrate Christ our Passover, and eat of that bread, and drink of that cup, we do it not only in remembrance of His death, burial and resurrection, but also that He is coming back for all of us who believe His Word from the heart.

Prayer

Yahweh, our heavenly Father, do keep all of us, who believe that we might endure to the end, for we happily look forward to Christ’s return. Grant it Father in Jesus’ name Amen. Shalom.
