Message

The Prophetic Message about the death of Jesus

Beloved, the death of Jesus the Christ in A.D. 30 was a fulfillment of Daniel’s prophecy which says:

“Know, therefore, and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah, the Prince, be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks; the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after three score and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for Himself….” [Daniel 9: 25-26]

The sign

And His resurrection on the third day, that is, after being buried in the heart of the earth for seventy two (72) hours, was a fulfillment of “the sign of the prophet Jonah.” [Matthew 12: 39]

Beloved, pertaining to a sign, certain of the Scribes and of the Pharisees wanted to see a sign from Jesus the Christ, and He said to them:

“An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign, and there shall be no sign give it, but the sign of the prophet Jonah: for as Jonah was three days and three nights in the wale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” [Matthew 12: 38-40; Jonah 1:17]

And you know what; in A.D. 30 Jesus the Christ became that Sign! According to the scripture, upon the first day of the week (which commenced at sundown of the previous day,) very early in the morning, Mary Magdalene, the other Mary [Matthew 28: 1] went to see the Sepulcher and took spices with them which they had prepared. They, however, found the stone of the Sepulcher rolled away, but upon entering it they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus, and they were puzzled. Besides, the women became afraid when they saw two Angels who were on guard at the Sepulcher at that time, and as they bowed their faces to the earth, the Angels said to them:

“Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here He, but is risen: remember how He spake unto you when He was yet in Galilee, saying: The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.”  And they remembered His words… [Luke 24:5-7]

The Emmaus Encounter

Beloved, on the third day when Jesus the Christ was resurrected, as two of His Disciples journeyed along the road to a village called Emmaus, they were in a sad state of mind as they tried to figure out the stunning events that took place around them in Jerusalem. But they were not all together alone, as they might have thought: the resurrected Lord Jesus was with them, but they could not see Him. And he said to them:

 “What manner of communications are these that y have one to another, as ye walk and are sad?

And one of them, namely, Cleopas, said to the Christ (anointed One), “Art thou only a strange in Jerusalem and hast not know, the things which are come to pass there in these days?” And Jesus said unto them, “What things?”  

“Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people …” But we trust that it had been He which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, today is the third day since these things were done. Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulcher; and when they found not his body, they came saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that He was alive. And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulcher, and found it even so as the women had said: but Him they saw not.” they replied. [Luke 24:13 -24]

At that point the resurrected Lord Jesus said to them:

“O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into glory?”[Matthew 24:25-26]

The Conspiracy

Jesus the Christ was crucified on the ‘Day of the preparation,’ and was buried on the same day, but in the evening, just before the commencement of a new day and the Jewish high or special Sabbath, at sundown. A new day starts at sundown for the night precedes (comes before) the day. [Genesis 1: 5] According to the scripture, “The next day that followed the Day of preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, ‘After three days I will rise again.’ Command therefore that the sepulcher be made sure until the third day, lest His Disciples come by night, and steal Him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first. Pilate said unto them, ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure you can. So they went, and made the sepulcher sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.” [Matthew 27: 62-66]

But their plan backfired on them much to their amazement and shame, when on the third day (i.e. after the full seventy two hours) God our heavenly Father raised up Jesus the Christ from the dead and the resurrected Lord Jesus came out of the tomb triumphantly.

The input of angels

Beloved, unlike man; God, our God the Most High and Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ, never fails! He made a way of escape out of the sealed tomb for Jesus His Son: “For there was a great earthquake; for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow. And for fear of Him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. ” [Matthew 28: 2-4] O let us give Yahweh the highest praise! Halellujaaaaaaah!!!

The compromise

Beloved, man appoints, but God disappoints! In spite of the fact that those keepers had a real experience of the power of God Almighty, in that they did shake and became as dead men, the impact of that experience was short lived. They were eye witnesses of all events that took place around the tomb from the second day unto the third day when Christ was resurrection, and they made a true report to the corrupted chief priests. But the choice they made to compromise the truth of the glorious “light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, who is the image of God,” in its initial form; hindered its light from shining on them any longer. [11 Corinthians 4: 6]

And instead of continuing in the light of the Gospel of Christ which was shining upon them when they made a true report to the chief priests: gross darkness overcame them when they compromised the truth and lied and said, “His disciples came by night, and stole Him away while we sleep.” [Matthew 28: 13] You see, they chose to lie about the resurrection of the body of Jesus the Christ because they were influenced to do so by the hypocritical and corrupted chief priests and elders, who assembled, and “had taken counsel, and gave a large money unto the soldiers, saying, say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole Him away while we slept. And if this come to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.” So they took the money and did as they were taught…. [Matthew 28: 14-15] Thus, bribery and the threat to apply political pressure on the soldiers were the root causes why, “They took the money, and did as they were taught.” [Matthew 28: 15]

The spread of the spirit of darkness

Lying about a Good Friday crucifixion and burial of the body of Jesus the Christ, is a ridiculous idle tale told, among others, throughout the centuries, and as a result, its spirit of darkness has been  transmitted to every generation since its commencement to this date. A “Good Friday”   crucifixion is a pill that never existed, and in my opinion, to teach and pass the theory down to others is also an insult to their intelligence. Those who have been swallowing the pill have been sincere believers, who perhaps have been manipulated into believing the lie because of their trust in their leaders’ words, due to the lack of the knowledge of God’s Word.

Stand firmly upon the Word

Today, let us stand firmly upon the Word of God and proclaim that the sign of Jonah was fulfilled by the Lord Jesus the Christ, in its entirety in A.D. 30. And that after the full seventy two (72) hours in the heart of the earth, Jesus the Christ arose from the dead on the third day, like He had said. Further, His resurrection took place after the end of the Sabbath, which actually brought an end to His seventy two (72) hours in the heart of the earth. [Matthew 12: 40]

Full Proof

Beloved, the end of the seventh day Sabbath was at Sundown, and it is the commencement of the first day of the week, namely, Sunday (Roman calendar.) Now let us roll back twenty four (24) hours each day for three days starting from Saturday at sundown, to see which day Jesus the Christ was actually crucified and buried.

Counting backwards from Christ’s third and final twenty four hours in the tomb to the time when He was first laid in it is as follows:

His third and last twenty four (24) hours in the tomb would have been from the Saturday at sundown back to the Friday at sundown. Next, His second twenty fours in the tomb would have been from Friday at sundown back to Thursday at sundown. And His first twenty four hours in the tomb would have been from Thursday at sundown back to Wednesday at sundown.

The Answer

Beloved, in the light of the Gospel of Christ, it was the Wednesday evening of the Day of Preparation, just before sundown, when a new day and special or high Sabbath would have commenced: that Joseph, a Disciple of Christ and a rich man of Arimathea: laid Jesus’ body ‘in his own new tomb: which he had hewn out of the rock, and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulcher and departed.’ [Matthew 27: 57-60]
