Sensitizing U: About our Faith

seagull-1511862__340

We, the Inward Jew Nation in Christ (Guyana, South America) believe in a single (Monos) God, the Father of all and Most High God, who is a divine Spirit. [John 4:23-24, 17: 3] Yahweh changes not…. [Malachi 3:6] Again, “God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man that He should repent.” [Numbers 23:18-19]

The religious beliefs and practices and the way of life of the Inward Jew Nation in Christ, Guyana, South America is known by us as In-Jewism. We are a nation in Christ. [1 Peter 2:9-10]

INJEWISM: was coined from the term “Jew inwardly”+ism. (Romans 2:29) And our belief in a single God (Monotheism) is also characteristic of InJewism. The monotheism that characterizes InJewism, with origin in Guyana South America, is our recognition and acceptance of Yahweh our Creator of the Universe as the single object of worship: and “though there be that are called gods, to us there is but One God, the Father, for whom we live and serve, through Christ His Son. [Deuteronomy 6:4-9; 1 Corinthians 8:5-6

We believe and practice water baptism by immersion, and “in the name of Jesus Christ.” [Acts 2: 38, 10: 44-48, 19:1-6]

Please reach for your Bible (Sword) and your preference drink, and let’s take some sips before we get the ball rolling and the rest is left to you.  … … Ok, here we go.

My Scripture Text:

Know ye not that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” [Romans 6:3-4]

Introducing three initial steps to your” walk in newness of life”

(1) Believe and be Baptize into Jesus Christ, and thus into His death! [Romans 6:3]
(2) Know when you are baptized into Jesus Christ, you are buried with Him by Baptism into death! Romans 6:4]
 (3) And as Christ was raised up from the dead: even so rise and walk in newness of life! [Romans 6:4]

Message

As Christ was raised up from the dead even so rise up and, “walk in newness of life!”

Beloved, when you baptize into Jesus Christ, that is, baptism by immersion into water, “in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,” [Acts 2:38] you baptize into His death; and therefore are buried with Him by Baptism into death. And as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the living Father, even so you rise up from your symbolic death to and burial of your Adamic nature―your sin nature with Christ, and “walk in newness of life,” by faith in Him. Praise the Lord.

The Walk

vector-bible-book-5007894The “walk in newness of life” is a spiritual one, and it is not new at all under the sun because others before us overcame the world [1 John 2:15-17] through faith in Christ, and walked “in  newness of life.” The “walk in Newness of Life” is centered on our heavenly Father and Creator of the heaven and earth; and Christ Jesus, the true “bread of life” from heaven, whom the living Father and Most High God has given to all mankind. [John 6:32-33]

We can learn something from the Children of Israel’s type of practical “walk in the newness of life” just before and after their departure from Egypt. Enough was enough, and Yahweh heard their cries, felt their pain while they were under slavery in Egypt and intervened.… It was time to depart from Egypt after spending some 450 years there. And after the last plague whereby the entire first born in the land were slain, even among the animals, by the death angel: Pharaoh decided to let the Children of Israel go. Yahweh led the children of Israel out of Egypt to “walk in newness of life” according to the Law at that time, so He guided them by a cloudy pillar by day and a fiery one by night. Further, Yahweh led them across the Red Sea with an outstretched arm. While in the desert, they walked in the “newness of life” in that, Yahweh taught them His ways: and to depend totally upon Him, when “He gave them bread from heaven to eat.” That physical bread was called Manna. [Exodus 15:16, Psalm 78:24]  However, many were rebellious towards Almighty God; and Moses their chosen leader, and they perished in the wilderness. [Hebrews 3:16-19]

About the Crowd that was gathered at Capernaum

But centuries after the Exodus: Christ came on the public scene. He was at Capernaum when a crowd of selfish people, who had eaten of the loves and fish which Christ had shared with the multitude the previous day; sought for Him the next day. And when they could’t find Him on one side of the sea, they searched on the other side of the sea of Galilee until they found Him; and when they said to Him, “Rabbi, when camest thou hither?” Jesus responded:

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, you seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves and fishes, and were filled. Labor not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for Him hath God the Father sealed.” [6:26-27]

Interestingly, having heard Jesus’ response, the people who sought Him asked what they should do that they might work the works of God. And Jesus said to them, “This is the works of God that ye believe on Him, whom He hath sent.” [John 6:29]

Still not convinced, the people who sought Jesus/Yeshua requested a sign from Him that they might see and believe Him. And they made reference to the manna their fathers’ ate in the desert, and quoted a scripture to support it, that is, “He gave them bread from heaven to eat. [Exodus 16:15]

But Jesus said to them,

“…Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven; for the bread of God is he which came down from heaven and giveth life unto the world.” [John 6:32-33]

The seekers of bread for their belly, who still walked in the flesh said unto Jesus, “Lord evermore give us this bread.” [John 6:34]
In response to them Jesus said, “I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.” But I said unto you that ye also have seen me, and believe not.” [John 6:35]

Beloved, Jesus the Christ was the sign they were looking for, and He was in their very midst, but they did not recognize or believe Him. When you come to Christ and “walk in newness of life” by faith in union with Him, and believe that He is the bread of life: two things, you can rest assured that would never happen to you, namely, (1) that you shall never hunger, and (2) you shall never thirst; provided that, you continue believing believe on Jesus/Yeshua. O, let us raise our hands a give Yahweh Praise. Hallelujaaaaaaah!!! Amen.

The walk in the Spirit is a “walk in the newness of life”+Benefits

Beloved, unlike the walk in the flesh which leads multitudes to labor for the meat which perishes: the walk in the Spirit is a “walk in newness of life” in that it will motivate and lead you, the believer in Christ, to be committed to Christ our Savior and Lord and “to labor for that meat which endures unto everlasting life, which the son of man will give unto you.” [John 6:26-27] Thank you, heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The importance of the Word of God as we walk in newness of life

The “walk in newness of life” is about the kingdom life in Christ Jesus that is available to all who believe and is baptized into His death…. And we do not know how to walk the walk unless we are guided by Yahweh through the Word of God, and by His Spirit, — the one Spirit of God, by which He dwells within us, His temple. [1 Corinthians 3: 16-17] So the Word of God is our blue print and map we must depend on for inspiration, guidance and prosperity on our journey from earth to eternity. Amen!!!

About the Kingdom

The kingdom in the abstract sense, however, is Christ’s Reign or Rule within us. And His subjects are those of us, whom He rules, who “walk in newness of life,”and in the light of His Word. [Psalm 119: 11, 105] We voluntarily invite Christ to reign in our hearts by faith, and by grace through faith we obey His voice.  When we read and study the Word of God prayerfully, obey from the heart what God is saying to us through it (the scripture) and with the understanding receive and apply it to our lives, we know that we are walking “in newness of life.” Praise the Lord. It is so sweet to trust in Jesus, and to take Him at His Word.

See Christ Jesus now, and by faith believe on Him, that you may have everlasting life! [John 6: 36 -40]

This is your Moment of inward Transformation: for your “walk in Newness of Life!!!”

“Today, that is, in these last days Yahweh speaks to us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds.”[Hebrews 1:2]

Beloved, if Yahweh our heavenly Father, has spoken to you through His Word in this post, harden not your heart, but humble yourself, repent and return to God through Christ Jesus, His Son. And remember the three initial steps to your” walk in newness of life.”

Romans 6:4]

Please make the above mentioned a matter of prayer, and may your inward Change be swift, and according to the Word of God, in Jesus’ name. God bless you and your household. Shalom.

Love the Unlovable with God’s Love: it’s Easy

kaieteur_falls_429543 Guyana’s Kaieteur Falls

God’s Love is the only true love; and as the mighty Kaieteur Falls among the other falls, it stands out among all other love.

As part of our InJew Culture in Christ Jesus, we obey a distinct and unequivocal (clear) order or command of the Creator and Most High God, that is, all people of faith in Christ Jesus love not only Him, and one another, but also, our neighbor; in this case, say, the person next door. [Deuteronomy 6:4; I John 4:7; Matthew 22:37- 40] But you may ask yourself, “How can I like a person who has hurt and embarrassed me not even once, but several times, or perhaps any enemy who has been a ‘pain in my neck’ for several years now, much less to love that person.

About God’s Love

Unlike most, who think that their love for others must be intimate and erotic: God Almighty’s love is unique in that it is unilateral, (one sided) and has nothing to do with his likes or dislikes about a person. This is actually God’s love and it is known as AGAPE love. Unlike man’s love in the natural or the emotional ways man loves his fellowmen, God’s love is definitely supernatural, and rightly so, because He is supernatural. And God’s love was, is, and will always be the same in every Epoch to come. This is why in our modern day societies, His love is relevant. God the Father is still merciful and forgiving to all mankind, and He is with open arms reaching out to all who would come humbly to Him for help. Interestingly, in spite man’s short comings, God Almighty commanded that believers must love Him, as well as,  and themselves. [Deuteronomy 6: 4] In Matthew 22:37- 40 Jesus the Christ confirmed His Father’s command whe He told the inquiring Pharisees thus, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. this is the first great commandment. And the second is like unto it, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”This is possible because believers in Christ can access the love of God Almighty, knowing that it can be released by the Holy Spirit who indwells the believers. If you are a backslider, or one who never accepted Christ Jesus as   your Lord and Savior, but acknowledge that you are a God loves yousinner, who needs a Savior because you want to be saved and to receive God’s Holy Spirit within you; don’t despair. Please follow the seven steps below:-

Seven Steps to ensure you are saved and to Holy Spirit within you

  • First, remember that God’s love is released by His Holy Spirit only, and  does not have whom to like, or to dislike
  • Second, Know that to have access to God’s love, the Holy Spirit must dwell within you
  • Third, for the Holy Spirit to dwell within you, you must voluntarily repent of your sins, ask God to forgive you of your sins, and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness through the blood of   Jesus, [1 John 7:-10]
  • Fourth, invite Christ into your heart and life, by faith : You may say, Jehovah, my heavenly Father, I come before your presence believing that I am a sinner, who need a savior because  I cannot save myself. I repent of my sins, and I ask you to forgive me my sins. By faith, I invite Christ into my life. Come into my heart and life Christ Jesus, save me, and live my life for yourself. I surrender my all to you. Grant it Holy Father, In Jesus’ name. Amen.
  • Fifth, know that when you invite Christ into your life, you also receive the Holy Spirit automatically
  • Sixth, know that Holy Spirit has one fruit divided into nine parts of which the first part is love, [ Galatians 5: 22-24], and
  • Seventh, as you read, pray and study the Word of God , you will experience the love of God more and more if you follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Understand the term following the leading of the Holy Spirit

In Galatians 5: 17-26, we read about the battle within man, that is, between his flesh and the Spirit, so much so, that he (degenerated man) is hindered from doing the things that he wants to do. But if you relate this condition to your own experience, you will do all things through Christ who gives you the strength to do so. This is why you must put your total dependence upon God Almighty, through Jesus Christ, to lead you to the next level, and the next, as you read, study and apply Galatians 5: 19-21 to your life. It is all up to you. Are you ready? Let us get ready to “Rambo” in Jesus’ name. It is a fact, a biblical fact that these sins mentioned in Galatians 5: verses 19 to 21 stem from the fallen nature in man, and that this fallen nature is the root cause of sins working and manifesting themselves in our members. So we have desires and yield to them as well. But if we follow the leading of the Spirit of God within the context of Galatians 5:19-21, we will soon understand that the greatest battle on earth that is currently taking place is in none other part of the Globe, but that part of our inner world 24/7 per individual on a daily basis. It is a bitter battle between the flesh, or man’s lower nature, and the Spirit of God; who has Jehovah’s divine nature and strongly apposes the fleshly lust in the believer, so he cannot do as he well pleases without being convicted by Him (the Holy Spirit).

I urge you to walk in the Spirit that you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. [Galatians 5:1]

Understand through the scriptures that man has a lower nature, also known as the fallen nature, or the Adamic nature. This fallen nature has desires which are totally against the Sprit of God Almighty, within man, and the manifestation of it, is seen in the various behavioral patterns of people in every stratum of society, worldwide. I would list them shortly, but I cannot at this time provide you with a full explanation of each, for this is beyond the scope of this instructional post. I urge you to walk in the Spirit that you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.  Renounce these (lusts) where applicable in your life now, in the name of Jesus, and instead, walk in the Spirit that you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Stay under the blood of Jesus, by faith, it will cleanse you and make you whole. Below, are the manifestations of some desires of the flesh clearly spelt out in Galatians Chapter 5: 19-21, termed “works of the flesh.” Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness (lust), idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, (disagreeing) emulations (jealousy), wrath, strife, seditions, (divisions), heresies (opinions contrary to the Word of God), envying, murders, drunkenness, and revellings (ungodly merry makings) etc.

The Spirit of God Almighty as restrainer and character builder

Interestingly, the Spirit of God in the believer acts as the restrainer to the above mentioned desires of his flesh, and thus restrains the believer in Christ from such indulgences. He also convicts him/her of righteousness and judgment to come [John 16:8], and with no little conviction if the believer sins against Him (the Spirit of God). You may now understand why the believer “cannot do the things according to his will,” as a result of this constant tug-o-war between “flesh” and “Spirit” within him/her. The Spirit of God Almighty develops character in men and women, even in those who did not have any moral or ethical values and self respect at one time in their lives. He does not only builds character in us believing men and women, but also, empowers us for service. And sends us out as role models and living examples to God Almighty’s saving grace and keeping power through Christ Jesus; and, as well as, His “burning and shining lights;” in the midst of this present dark world of  sin, wickedness,  and in this rebellious generation to win some (including the unlovable) to Christ;  through His love, His Word, Effective fervent Prayer, Daily Lifestyle and Faith in Christ Jesus. As the believer in Christ, let us reach the unlovable with the love of God Almighty. The unlovable have a right to know and understand God Almighty’s love, too, but how would unlovable men and women know it, if they are shunned? How can God Almighty build character in the unlovable, if believers act like the unlovable? Certainly, if some among the unlovable humble themselves before God Almighty, believe the Word of God, and yield themselves to the leading of the Holy Spirit,  they too should be delivered: and further, manifest such characteristic traits, and graces of the fruit of the Holy Spirit, as mentioned below:-

The Walk and the Fruit of the Holy Spirit

The fruit of the Holy Spirit is: —love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and self control. It is only one fruit, but it is divided into nine parts. The onus is now  the reader’s,  to choose either to be lead by his/her own fleshly desires and works of the flesh, or, instead,  choose and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, through whom God’s love is released.

That you follow the leading of God Almighty’s Holy Spirit, is my earnest prayer on your behalf. May God richly bless you. Amen.

Stay under the Blood of Jesus!

Serving in newness of spirit,                                                                                                                                                       Pastor: Elder Wilfred A. Wilson
